We had an amazing trek with our guides, Noel and Sunday the cook prepared our daily delicious meals, our ‘personal assistant’ and the porters. They were all amazing and helped us Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro successfully! They always were positive, helpful, caring and made us laugh. Thanks to them, the good camping gear and the great food (Muddy is an amazing chef!) we reached the peak. 5 stars all the way!Show more

My girl friend and I did the 10 day Mount Kilimanjaro trek via Lemosho route. The guides were amazing and supported us very well. All the meals were huge with lots of fruit and vegetables. Our chef was great and made sure we had coffee in the tent each morning, lots of food to eat, snacks and tea at the end of the day and helped with out packs when we came in. The route is challenging but through the great crew we had then we made it to the top of the Mount Kilimanjaro. Uhuru peak never forget haha :)Show more

We had such an amazing time with Steppe Dogs Adventures! We chose to hike the 8 Days Lemosho route and we made it to the top due to this great team. Our guides, Sunday and Noel, were very experienced, attentive and caring and made our experience very comfortable and enjoyable. Our team also consisted of 14 lovely porters, one more kind and hardworking than the next. The food was also great, a hot meal three times a day plus all the hot tea and snacks you could want. Steppe Dogs Adventures is a new and growing company, started by young entrepreneurs in Tanzania, who we met during our stay there, and we couldn't give a higher recommendation. You will not be disappointed with your experience!Show more

I and my daughter chose Steppe Dogs Adventures to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. From the very first moment, Steppe Dogs Adventures made sure that we had a fun and safe trip. Our guides Noel and Roman were exceptional, as were the porters who prepared our food and carried all of our gear. We climbed the 8 days on the mountain via Lemosho Route . In addition to the guides and porters, the managers are also great. We passed through the company's office on the last day, and the managers made sure that our travel plans were all set and that we were safe. It was a very kind gesture. If you are planning to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, you will not go wrong with Steppe Dogs Adventures! Just remember, "pole, pole!"Show more

We did the 8 day Lemosho route with Steppe Dogs Adventures and overall we had a great experience! The entire team was very helpful and friendly, from Frank the owner of the company to all the porters. Everyone was always genuinely helpful and you could feel the personal touch of a smaller company. The whole trip was very well organized from start and any changes in plans were always accommodated and dealt with professionally.The hike itself ran very smoothly and we had everything we needed (much more than you'd expect on a mountain). You wouldn't have guessed that this was a budget hike.Our assistant guide Roman was absolutely amazing! Very kind and cheerful and always pushing you to keep going. And he also takes great pictures! The food was incredible, 3 full meals every day, with something different each day - they really went beyond my expectations (chef Muddy is highly recommended!) We had some issues with our guide and the company management dealt with it very well. And they went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed after the hike, which they absolutely didn't need to. I would highly recommend choosing Steppe Dogs Adventures for your Kilimanjaro trek!Show more
