Yes, there are bathroom facilities, including showers and toilets, at the campsites.

For this tour, are the roads pretty undeveloped? They were rough for a good part of our last trip. Do you have photos of the tent accommodations as we stayed in lodges last time? We are in our 70's and able but too basic would not be pleasant. We did not see Tree Climbing lions last time and are really interested in that. Does your tour of the Lake Manyara area usually have success in seeing them? We are interested in traveling when the Migration is occurring. We were told mid to late August is the best time. Is that accurate and would your tour be timed for a Migration experience?

Road Conditions: The roads in the safari regions can indeed be quite undeveloped and rough in some areas. We will provide a comfortable 4x4 vehicle to navigate these terrains safely and as smoothly as possible. Tent Accommodations: We offer tented camps that are well-equipped for comfort. I will send you photos of these accommodations so you can see the level of comfort provided. Tree Climbing Lions: Lake Manyara is one of the few places where tree-climbing lions can be seen. While sightings can never be guaranteed with wildlife, our tours have a good track record of spotting them in this area. Great Migration: The Great Migration typically peaks in the Serengeti from mid to late August, which is indeed an excellent time to witness this incredible event. Our tours are designed to maximize the chances of experiencing the migration, and we can certainly plan your trip around this period for the best experience.

We booked the 5 day fly-in fly-out tour starting in Zanzibar . To start with , Ibrahim was the most conscientious and friendly tour planner I have come across . From being easily contactable, and quick to respond to any queries from the initial booking enquiry , to assisting with transfers to and from our accommodation in Zanzibar, despite unforeseen delays leading to “Midnight Express” flights from Kilimanjaro, after our tour was completed, his outstanding commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction is unrivalled. The actual 5 day tour considering of 2 days in the Serengeti , 1 day in Ngorongoro crater , 1 day in Lake Manyara and our final day in Tarangire national parks were incredible. Our tour guide Manfred, was exceptionally knowledgeable and did a fantastic job of giving us some unforgettable sightings of the rarer animals, including Bat Eared fox; Black rhino; golden jackal, cheetah with small cubs, and Serval . We were fortunate enough to see numerous leopard , lion, and elephant sightings as well. . We are lucky to be able to add a plethora of new bird species to our list of sighted birds too. The only downside we experienced was the unfortunate lack of pangolin sightings which we decided would be best saved for future tours . I can only highly praise all the staff at African Polecat Safaris , and would recommend them to any future prospective clients as the best and only option for booking a tour .Show more

African Polecat Safaris customer service is outstanding! We booked the, 5-day safari to Africa leading National Parks. (Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Lake Manyara).
