Itinerary
- Day 1
Livingstone to Ngonye Falls
You'll get picked up from your hotel in Livingstone and head along the Zambezi river to Ngonye Falls. The falls aren't as large as Victoria Falls, but the water cutting through basalt rock formations is really worth seeing. After exploring the area on foot, you'll take a boat across to an island where the views are best. Then you'll settle in for the night camping near the river.

- Day 2
Liuwa Plain National Park
Today takes you into Liuwa Plain National Park, covering about 3,660 km2 of mostly untouched landscape with wide honey-colored grassland, scattered water pans, and tree clusters. Thousands of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, red lechwe, reedbuck, and oribi roam the plains here. Keep an eye out for hyena, wild dog, and lion as well. You'll camp in the bush where there's running water, showers, and proper toilet facilities.

- Day 6
Chunga to Mayukuyuku Camp
You'll drive through pristine Miombo forest heading toward Chunga, passing through an area with small rivers and waterholes scattered throughout. Wild dogs, cheetah, and lion live in this region, so wildlife viewing is good. By evening you'll reach Mayukuyuku Camp, which sits on the banks of the Kafue River, where you'll camp for the night.

Return to Lusaka
