I and my friend and I booked for a 3 days Gorilla trekking trip to Rwanda. Yvonne handled our requests professionally and customized a budget suiting us. More importantly we were able to secure Gorilla trekking permits discounted for African residents in a short period of time and were facilitated with PCR tests required to trek gorillas at a local hospital near the Volcanoes Park. Emmanuel, my driver was outstanding as spending time with him was amazing.Apart from Gorillas, the company was able to organize us village visits whereby we spent time with local communities. I highly recommend using New Horizon! They communicated with me very well from the beginning, responding to my messages quickly, keeping me updated with covid-related needs, and being very flexible. I don't have any complaints. They made traveling during covid as easy as it could be. I also recommend using Emmanual as your tour guy. He is the nicest person who went out of his way to ensure we had the best trip. If we wanted to add a stop or two (or three) along the way, he enthusiastically accommodated us. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 12th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 12th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with New Horizon Africa Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 90 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and New Horizon Africa Safaris will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "New Horizon Africa Safaris" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
