My friend and I are looking to go trekking this September for around 10-14 days. We would be novice trekkers, would this tour be suitable? If so how would the tour work?

As you novice trekkers, this is the perfect Trek which is not that much difficult as well as less altitude than Everest and Annapurna. The views are so beautiful with jungle and wildlife. Also you will see the Tibetans cultures and the Himalayas Views are incredible.

Would it be possible to start this journey at the age of 16 without parents

Introduction

Day 1 Reach Kathmandu via various international airline and transfer to hotel.
Day 2 In Kathmandu with optional sightseeing tour and preparation for the trek.
Day 3 Drive to Syabrubesi village 1,460 m – 06 hrs.
Day 4 Trek to Lama Hotel 2, 280 m – 06 hrs.
Day 5 Trek to Langtang village 3,290 m – 06 hrs.
Day 6 Trek to Kyanjin within Langtang valley 3,785 m – 04 hours.
Day 7 Rest at Kyanjin for excursion and short hike.
Day 8 Trek to Lama Hotel – 06 hrs.
Day 9 Syabrubesi village – 05 hrs.
Day 10 Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel – 06 hrs journey.
Day 11 Depart Kathmandu for international departure homeward bound.

Eco Holidays Nepal did an excellent job at making my experience memorable. First off, the destination: it is not as famous as Everest or Annapurna, and that's a plus in my mind! The area is well served with teahouses, and I hiked to a very respectable 4600m elevation, where I really felt I could touch glaciers and peaks! It wasn't crowded, and many of the other hikers were nepalese. Then, the service: Eco Holidays Nepal paired me with an excellent guide and porter, who made every effort to make my experience pleasant and exciting. Finally, the flexibility: I needed to change plans multiple times to accommodate circumstances (unexpected acclimation, too-busy teahouses due to politicians visiting) and every time plans were adjusted to fit my desires and needs. Summing up, it was a very positive experience and I would recommend it to everyone

Done 7 days Langtang Trek with Guide Chandra who became best friend too. We took jeep to Shyprubesi then same day walk up to Pahire. Next day continue to Riverside then continue. We stayed 2 nights in Kyanjin Gumpa because my guide suggested to visit hidden valley and Tesko Ri. Wow what a beautiful valley with the langtang Lirung Himalaya. It was not perfect weather due to monsoon but still worth it. We visited Langtang Lirung Glacier, Hidden Valley, Tesko Ri, Cheese farm and old monastery. All are such a wonderful places and my guide always with me during these places. He arranged my accommodation and foods as well as show me all the beautiful waterfalls, Langtang Valley and some beautiful monastery. I enjoyed very much and my recommendation to Chandra.

It was my first trip to Nepal and I was completely clueless how the trip would turn to be. I believed my friend who had prior experience in Nepal and I am really glad I didn’t turn down the trip. It was one of the most unforgettable trips I had. We had hired the Eco Holidays Company for our trek and they were a bunch of professional and humble people. The trip was exciting and the views were amazing. Not to forget our guide Suman who was a real pro. These people made my trip amazing. It was my first experience trekking in Nepal. I along with my couple of friends decided to try different taste and we choose, Langtang Trek. It was such a great experience. The guide was very helpful and well-experienced. Also, our porter was great as well. I really appreciate Mr. Dhurba for arranging such an awesome trek with great team and flexible itinerary. Highly recommended!!!

Payment information
- For any tour departing before March 31st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 31st, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Eco Holidays Nepal. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Eco Holidays Nepal will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
