Dear Ellie Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely appreciate your honesty and regret to hear that the tour did not fully meet your expectations as a solo traveler. Our tours are designed to offer flexibility and a mix of experiences, which sometimes means that accommodations and activities are spread across different locations or include diverse groups of participants. While this approach allows for unique opportunities to explore Peru at your own pace, we understand it may not align with the preferences of those seeking a fully guided, group-centered experience. We value your suggestion about fostering more cohesive group dynamics and will take this into account as we continue refining our offerings. Our goal is to ensure that all travelers, whether solo or in groups, feel supported and enjoy a seamless experience. We're sorry that the experience wasn't exactly what you expected. If you decide to return in the future to explore more of this wonderful country, we would be happy to provide you with an experience more tailored to your needs and preferences. Warm regards, Waman Adventures

Dear Yanhong Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful sceneries and that the language barrier did not pose any difficulties during your trip. It’s great to know that our English-speaking guides were able to assist you every step of the way, ensuring smooth transitions and making sure you never felt lost. We also appreciate your feedback regarding your stay with a local family on the island. While we understand that the lack of running water was challenging, we’re glad that it gave you a new appreciation for the comforts of home. We strive to offer a mix of authentic experiences alongside comfortable accommodations, and we’re happy to hear that all of your hotel rooms met your expectations. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable adventure in the future! Best regards, Waman Adventures

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten April 2026

We highly recommend arriving around 12:00 pm (midday). This is the standard check-in time at the hotel, so upon arrival you will be able to go directly to your room, rest, and settle in comfortably. It will also give you a free afternoon to explore the city at your own pace and begin acclimatizing.

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten April 2026

If you plan to arrive a day before the tour, we strongly suggest staying at the same hotel that we will reserve for your tour (for example for June Month we will book, Munay Wasi Hotel). We can also arrange your pre-accommodation for an additional cost of USD $80 (A room with a full size bed or with two single beds) if you would like us to take care of everything for you. Of course, you are also welcome to book your hotel on your own.

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten April 2026

Whether you arrive on the same day or one day before, your pickup is 100% confirmed and guaranteed.

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten April 2026

On the last day, we will arrange your transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule. We usually ensure you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your departure, so everything is well organized and stress-free.

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten April 2026

If you decide to stay an extra night in Puno, we will provide your transfer from the end of the tour to your hotel without any problem. We can also recommend hotel options if needed.

Do you offer a single traveller the option to safe money and room with another solo person in a shared room

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten March 2026

At the moment, we do not offer the option of sharing a room with other solo travelers. All our accommodations are arranged in private rooms to ensure comfort and privacy.
However, if you are flexible with your travel dates, we would be happy to offer you a special rate for specific departures.

Since you're interested in extending your trip with additional activities in Lima, this itinerary is an excellent complement to your journey and will allow you to experience even more of Peru in a smooth and well-organized way. One of the greatest advantages of this program is that it already includes the local flights, so you won't have to worry about coordinating them separately. Everything is arranged for you, making your experience seamless and completely stress-free.

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten February 2026

Yes, you can sign up without any problem. We will be happy to welcome you on the departure scheduled for Monday, April 6th, 2026, for 2 adults.

We would just like to kindly mention that there are two activities in the program that involve moderate hiking: Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain. If you are not used to walking long distances or hiking, these activities may feel a bit challenging.

However, please don't worry. We offer flexible options to make your experience more comfortable, such as:

Reducing the walking distance by using alternatives like ATV (quad bike) tours, or if you prefer, we can remove these activities and offer you a personalized itinerary focused on sightseeing and relaxation. In this case, the total price would also be adjusted accordingly.

Our goal is to make sure you enjoy your trip at your own pace and in the most comfortable way possible.

I wanted to inquire about changing the room type later and potential refunds. I want to secure a spot on this tour, so I was considering booking the Single Room while I wait on a friend to decide if they can join me. If they do decide to join, would I #1 be able to change to the Twin Room and split the costs AND #2 be refunded the difference in room rates?

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten November 2025

You can go ahead and reserve your spot with complete confidence. If your friend decides to join later, don't worry. I'll gladly adjust your booking so both of you can share a twin room and update the price to the shared rate accordingly.

We set an age limit mainly because the tour includes two hiking activities that can be physically demanding. However, if you still wish to join, there's no problem at all. For both hikes to Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain, there is the option to reduce the walking time by renting a horse. This allows you to enjoy the experience with less physical effort. Please note that this service has an additional cost, which is paid directly to the local horse handler. If you're not comfortable with hiking, which typically involves about 2 hours uphill and 2 hours downhill, we can offer you an alternative cultural activity so you can still make the most of your trip.

I'm thinking of booking the 9 days Wonders of Peru tour. I'm a solo traveler and was wondering if the group stays the same for the duration of the 9 days or does it constantly change? Also, will there be a lot of hiking? I was hoping to do the Inca or Lares trek, but I might not have time for it, unfortunately.

We regret to inform you that there is currently no availability for Machu Picchu tickets in the month of June, as they are completely sold out. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and kindly recommend considering travel dates after June, so you can enjoy a complete and unforgettable experience at the citadel.
