Itinerary
- Day 1
Salta
You'll arrive at Salta Airport and head to your hotel to settle in. After getting oriented, you'll join an empanada cooking class where you'll work through the whole process, starting with the dough and learning how to fold them the traditional way. Once they come out of the oven, you'll get to eat what you made. The evening is yours to walk around the city and get a feel for the place.

- Day 2
Salta to Cafayate
This morning you're heading out through the Lerma Valley, driving past tobacco fields and towns with colonial architecture. As you continue, you'll enter Quebrada del Río Las Conchas where the rocks have been shaped by wind and water into really interesting formations. You'll arrive in Cafayate, which is known for its Torrontés wines. There you'll visit some local wineries to taste wines, then check into your hotel for the night.

Cafayate to Salta
You have the morning free to walk around Cafayate at your own pace and check things out. After lunch, you'll start heading back toward Salta city. By evening you'll be at your hotel, so you'll have time to rest before the next day.

- Day 4
Salta to Purmamarca
You'll leave early and spend the day traveling through some high-altitude scenery. Following a route similar to the Train of the Clouds railway, you'll head through Quebrada del Toro and climb up to 4,080 meters at San Antonio de los Cobres. You'll have lunch with local food, then continue on Route 40 to Salinas Grandes on the border between Salta and Jujuy provinces. Coming down through Cuesta de Lipán, you might see condors flying around. By late afternoon you'll reach Purmamarca to see the Hill of Seven Colors before staying overnight there.

- Day 5
Purmamarca to Salta
You're heading out early to the UNESCO World Heritage site Quebrada de Humahuaca. You'll start in Purmamarca checking out the colorful Seven Colours Hill, then travel through the valley and stop at Posta de Hornillos, Tilcara, and Huacalera where you can cross the Tropic of Capricorn. The Church of Uquía is next, where you'll see important religious paintings called the Arcabuceros Angels. After reaching Humahuaca to see the Cathedral and the Independence Monument, you'll have lunch. In the afternoon you'll see the colorful Paleta del Pintor mountain range near Maimara before heading back to Salta in the evening.

At the scheduled time, you'll get a transfer to Salta Airport for your departure flight. That's when the tour ends and you'll head to your next destination.
