Dear Johanna, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience on our 8-Day Iceland Ring Road Tour. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Our goal is to provide a balanced and memorable experience for all guests, and we understand your frustration regarding the limited daylight during the winter season and the higher pricing over the holiday period. While the holiday season offers unique opportunities, such as viewing the Northern Lights, it also presents challenges like shorter days and holiday closures, which may impact the experience. We will make sure to review possible improvements with our product manager in order to better operate the tour under different seasonal circumstances. We regret that the interaction with your guide and the ice cave visit fell short of your expectations. Our guides are trained to provide in-depth information and ensure guests feel engaged throughout the journey. Overcrowding in popular locations like the ice caves is something we actively work to manage, especially during peak seasons, but we understand how this can affect your enjoyment. If you’d like to share more details about your experience or discuss how we can improve, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@adventures.is. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us provide better experiences in the future. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you on a better tour experience with us in the future.

    Asked on November 23rd, 2025

Could you please provide more information on the itinerary, inclusions, and accommodation used for this tour?

    Accommodation
    Tour Details
    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten November 2025

The tour includes the Whale-watching and Ice Caving activities. Unfortunately, the nature baths admission is not included in the price of the tour. It should be added separately. The price for the nature baths admission is 7400 ISK per person. As for accommodation, we usually book the hotels that are of 3 stars or higher rating.

  • T

    Tom

    Asked on October 2nd, 2025

We are interested in 8 days around Iceland adventure Standard Package (no glacier hike, ice care, whale watching). Do you have a specific itinerary for that version of the tour to forward?

    Tour Details
    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten October 2025

Unfortunately, we do not offer the standard packages of our tours through TourRadar due to system limitations, the tours on this platform always include the most complete experience possible. Moreover, the 8-day Ring Road Tour doesn't have a reduced version whatsoever. We assure you that the full package is the ultimate travel experience in Iceland, so we certainly recommend looking into choosing the complete version of the adventure. The Crystal Ice Cave tour and the Whale Watching are almost certain to be some of the highlights for most travelers and are quite worth it!

  • J

    Janice

    Asked on September 7th, 2025

Is it possible to book additional nights at the hotel used by the tour so as not to have to change hotels? Is this something you can organise? Or at what point are the hotels confirmed? What does moderate fitness level mean?

    Accommodation
    Tour Details
    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten September 2025

Unfortunately, we only provide accommodation for the duration of the tour. You would have to book your pre and post-tour accommodation by yourself. We recommend booking one of the authorized pick-up location hotels. The 8-day Ring Road is more of a sight-seeing adventure. The tour is considered to be of easy difficulty level which means that the tour is suitable for all types of traveler. Moderate difficulty level means that the tour is suitable for those in good condition who are able to walk for about 4 hours at a low or moderate pace. Trails are generally of good quality and glacier travel at a relatively low angle.

    • J

      Janice

      TravelerWritten September 2025

Is the day one hotel in Reykjavík included or is it the end of tour hotel in the city? If I was to book the Sunday to Sunday tour and arrive Saturday do I need to book both nights or is one part of the tour? And the same at the end, is there a night at a hotel in Reykavich included or should I book that separately?

    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten September 2025

The 8-Day Iceland Ring Road Tour includes 7 nights of accommodation: your first night in Reykjavik, 5 nights during the tour around Iceland, and the final night back in Reykjavik. Your accommodation from October 5th to 12th is all taken care of as part of the tour. If you're arriving earlier than the 5th or staying later than the 12th, you'd just need to book those extra nights yourself.

    Asked on July 31st, 2025

do we get a private room or its a shared room to all the group?

    Accommodation
    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten August 2025

On our 8-day Ring Road, you will be accommodated in a twin or double (according to your preference) private room with private bathroom. We do not book shared rooms for the whole group for this adventure. However, if you would be traveling as a solo traveler, you would have to decide whether you want to have a single room and enjoy the privacy of your own, then you would have to add the single room supplement, or, of course, if you are fine with sharing your room with another traveler of the same genter, you could select a twin room and we would accommodate you in a twin room with another traveler.

    1. What hotels will we be staying at each night? 2. Is there heat (or AC) in hotels in summer depending on temperature? 3. What will be the average temperature there end June - early July in Fahrenheit please? 4. If I wanted to stay one extra nite on July 7th can you arrange the hotel? How much would it be? 5. I am traveling solo - if I do shared room with another female will we each have our own bed? Does each room have private bathroom? 6. Do you help arrange flights?

Also I am vegetarian- no eggs, no fish, no poultry. R there meal options?

    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten June 2025

Some of the hotels may have the AC's and all of them have heaters. The average weather temperature in Iceland, during summer is 8°C to 14°C (46.4°F to 57.2°F). We do not provide additional services like accommodation (before or after the adventure) or airport transfers. If you decide to share your room with another traveler, you will be accommodated in a twin room with 2 separate beds. All of our rooms have private bathrooms. We do not arrange flights, that has to be done by the customers themselves. As we do not provide any food during the tour, you will have breakfasts at the hotels you will be staying during the tour. The breakfasts are served in a buffet style. Our guide will stop by gas stations, caffes or restaurants for lunch and at the end of each day, the guide will ask the whole group whether there's anyone who would like to join for dinner and book a table at the restaurants of the hotels you will be staying for the night. In all cases, you will be able to choose the most suitable foods for yourself.
