This was an amazing tour. The tour guides (Thrustir, Gummy Bear and Freeman (butchering names here)) were amazing and cared a lot about our experience. The tour and what you saw was great, however the guide I had wasn’t great. Zero information given, lack of food options and we didn’t really know what was on the agenda for the day.

I think my experience would have been totally different if I had a different guide. (I have provided specific feedback directly to the tour operator)
Food options - some of the hotels are in the middle of no where - so you are limited with the food option of the hotel only. If you are picky, I’d recommend getting food options at the supermarket or gas station.
Hotels you stayed at were good - clean and had everything you need. You get to the hotels early evening around 5pm ish and then leave around 8am the next day.
Akuryri is a cute town - do some research on what you’d like to see here as this is the only town you’ll visit with stuff to do. (The rest are super small with not much going on in them)
The tour visits a thermal spa lagoon - they charge for towels, so BYO if you want to avoid the extra charges. (There isn’t anything to do at this stop except for the spa lagoon, even though the guide references you can explore the town)
You are on the bus for a long time. And the ground in the bus gets wet and dirty - consider bringing a bag cover to protect your backpack - I didn’t the first day and the bottom of my backpack was wet. (The overhead compartment doesn’t fit much).
I would have done my own driving if I was more confident in driving in the snowy conditions. If you are confident in doing so, I’d recommend you look at this as an alternative.

Their driving skills was good, kept us informed of stories on the site and break time.
Accommodation - comfortable and clean .. overall okay
at Hofn, I was allocated a room where the window is in maintenance mode and the other window is very close to the car park. I was too tired to feedback for the change .
at Hótel Laugarbakki, the hotelier was able to solve problem by providing a fan as the room's air circulation was poor
At Borgarnes, the room has lacked of air circulation but there is no extra room to swap and no alternative but to live with it. the room was facing a car park. same situation lack of privacy when the window is opened.
Luggage handling- on 7th and 8th day tours, our guides had to squeeze our bags in the limited space within the vehicle without breaking their backs. The company could have arranged additional tow capacity.
Best tour I have done in years and I travel a lot. The places seen and the driver/guide was superb.

The activities were right for us. Walking trails, glacier hike, waterfalls to admire. Some days were more relaxed when the drives were long. Bus seemed to be cleaned everyday because we rotated seats and always had clean areas. The driver, Thor, was friendly, entertaining and did not speak too much.
Overall loved my experience with Arctic Adventures out of Rekjavik. Our first guide William was very personable and we learned a great deal about Icelandic history on the tour. Our last tour guide for day 7 was Thor whom was equally entertaining in his own way.
It's a great way to experience a wide variety of Iceland and the many things it has to offer. Only downsides were the mic wasn't working well which was unfortunate for our 6 day trip and the wilderness center stay was not our favorite. Also get ready to eat alot of lamb, cheeseburgers, and fish or supermarket sandwiches.

We did not have enough time to see the site. Skogafoss is a beautiful waterfall, but quite different in winter from the photo on the site since the path behind is closed.
Fee (I am not sure how their name is spelled), our glacier guide was the best for sure but the ice cave in this tour is minuscule and different from photos online (1 person fits in). No one in the tour understood we arrived at the ice cave. The Svinafellsjokull glacier was skipped, only seen from distance in the car driving, which is a scam. Thor tried to be funny but wasn't so easy to connect with and didn't have any patience and almost left before the start of the tour (we weren't sure of which van to take and received a call from Arctic Adventures with a hidden number when he had already left, we had to run after the van 5 min late).
Hotels were ok. Other than that, Iceland is an amazing place and wherever you go, surprises are waiting for you. In lava tour, you shouldn't expect to see hot red lava and enough time to discover even the cold lava. Northern tour lights was also a failure since it was our only chance to see it that night, we went to a place where the sky was covered by clouds and miss all the show while everyone that stayed in the city we saw it. Christophe was funny and could cheer us up, still it doesn't pay off since the whole point of our trip was to see the lights.

Highly recommend the tour, if you want to have a decent coverage of Iceland.

The tour was excellent in coverage, timing and the guide Thor was great. We absolutely enjoyed it but there were however a couple of things that could be improved:

The hotels for some of the days were inadequate. Some people in the tour had better rooms than others which was unfair. Our room in Borganes was the worst we've ever stayed in and the manager was dismissive of our concerns and lied to us about alternative room availability. The room in the Hotel Valaskjalf was miniscule, we had to drag our suitcasess up several levels of stairs and the facilities were minimal. The bathroom was awful and there was nowhere to put our suitcases.
The bus for the first 6 days was a little small for the number of people eg you couldn't see at all out the other side of the bus. The one for day 7 was much better, bigger windows and slightly less people.
The driver on day 7 was particularly terrific.
The day 8 tour was wonderful and because we were the only customers our driver/guide was terrific and flexible in timing to suit us.

Thor, our tour guide knows exactly what he is doing and where the great tour spots to go to. Even though our whale watching was cancelled because of bad weather, he took us in other places that are eq…Thor, our tour guide knows exactly what he is doing and where the great tour spots to go to. Even though our whale watching was cancelled because of bad weather, he took us in other places that are equally great. He is very knowledgable and detailed in Icelandic history. He is very friendly is easy to talk to. He is always in time in our meetups. Iceland and Tourradar are great.

The 7 day tour allowed us to see many beautiful and interesting sites of Iceland. Day 7 was a horrible weather day and turned out to be a waste of time. Day 7 was a horrible weather day and turned out to be a waste of time. My thoughts are that using 7 days to do the Ring tour would be more fun that doing the ring tour in 6 days with a weak day 7. Days were quite long. Bus was not very comfortable. Seats were narrow and leg room was tight. Room for improvement. ????
My overall experience was really good. I laughed constantly, enjoyed everyone and everything for the most part. There were a few small issues that should have been ha died differently.

Fantastic itinerary and country, great hotels and food, great guide, even the weather behaved seeing as it was February. Honestly faultless if you want a grand overview of Iceland
