I am looking for a 10- day trip to Nepal - possibly a mix of culture with trekking- but I might not have a travel partner. Therefore I was wondering if you could give me any advice on what trip to look for specifically so that I can do the booking online for one person.

We can prepare an itinerary for you that includes a tour of Kathmandu Valley with its cultural highlights, along with a 10-day Langtang Valley trek. The program will be designed for a single traveler, and if other people join, we can adjust the arrangements accordingly. Based on your preferences, we will offer you two different packages: 1) Kathmandu highlights and Langtang Valley trek 2) Kathmandu and Pokhara sightseeing with Poon Hill trekking. Both options are 10-day programs.

I am a very fit 65-year-old male travelling solo and wish to join a small group of 4 to 12 people. I do not mind sharing a room with one other person (assume in Tea House) and happy to consider an all inclusive package or other options. Could you please advise if this is possible and or what other options you may have including indictive price in AUD$

We can certainly accommodate your request for a small group trek. Unfortunately, we do not have a group leaving on your preferred so the option for group travel on that date is not available right now. However, we can arrange a solo trip for you with single supplementary charges, which also covers the included accommodations in our tour package.

1. Should we carry big and heavy bag packs with all our belongings during the track or they will be transported and we will carry only daily meal and water? 2. How cold is the weather in December? 3. Do they have hot shower in the lodges? 4. Do Russian citizens need visa?

During the tour, you will be responsible for carrying your own bags and personal belongings. If you prefer not to carry your luggage, you have the option to hire a porter service. Each porter can carry up to 18kg of weight, which can be shared between two people. The porter service is available at a cost of $25 per day. The weather in the Langtang Valley and Tamang Heritage Trek during December can be quite cold, varying depending on the altitude and the prevailing weather conditions. Nights and early mornings can experience significant drops in temperature, ranging from -5°C to 5°C. Hot showers are available during the trek. However, please note that you will have access to hot water from heated buckets, and there will be an extra charge for this service. Regarding your Visa, Russian nationals have two options for obtaining a visa to Nepal. You can either obtain a visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu or choose the online visa application process.

I had a great experience with Asian Heritage Treks. I have just finished LangTang Valley Trek and wow the views were stunning. I was lucky to have Kami as my guide and he was very respectful, very positive and very knowledgable about the trek. The hospitality and food from all the tea houses were great and met some amazing people on the way. I was giving a lot of flexibility on if I wanted to cut days shorter or push myself a little farther which I appreciate and overall it was a nice difficulty where I felt challenged but never pushed too far. Nilam and all the employees at Asian Heritage were incredibly professional. They went above and beyond my expectations to give me one of the best experiences of my life. During my 12 day trek, I got a stomach bug in which my guide went out of his way to look after me. Nilam, the owner also sent messages to me to make sure that I was ok. There are not many companies, businesses or people that would show that level of compassion. The trek was tailored to my needs. I enjoyed personal relationships with the local Langtang people, I saw the most breathtaking views and landscapes and I was also exposed to the incredible sacred Buddhist monuments.   I am now ready to book the tour but when I try process the order it does not let me book it separately. It says Accommodation needs 2 travellers or else I can say I'm travelling with a friend who is booking separately but that gives me a message that somethings gone wrong. what should I do?

- For any tour departing before July 7th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 7th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Asian Heritage Treks & Expeditions. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
