Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
Your guide will be waiting at the airport with a name board to get you to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. After you check in (available from 2:00 PM), spend the rest of the day settling in and taking it easy. This is your chance to shake off travel fatigue and get oriented before things pick up.

- Day 2
Cairo to Giza
Meet your Egyptologist guide in the hotel lobby after breakfast. You'll head to the Grand Egyptian Museum first to see the largest collection, including the hanging obelisk. Lunch happens at a riverside restaurant with views of the Nile. After that, it's on to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (one of the Seven Wonders of the World). You have free time to browse a perfume factory and traditional papyrus institute if you want. By evening, board your sleeper train headed to Luxor.

- Day 3
Luxor
Your guide meets you at Luxor Station to start exploring the West Bank, also called the City of the Dead. The Valley of Kings has 63 registered tombs plus 3 recently discovered ones you'll see. Next is the Hatshepsut Temple, built into the cliff face in terrace formation and really unlike anything else. The Memnon statues are there too, the only remaining pieces from Amenhotep III's mortuary temple. Grab lunch at a local restaurant on the East Bank, then visit the Karnak Temples, the largest ancient temple complex in Egypt. Later you fly back to Cairo and get transferred to your hotel for your last night.

Cairo to Airport
After breakfast, a pickup will take you to Cairo Airport based on your flight time. This wraps up your Egypt trip.
