  I had a great experience doing the 8-day Langtang Valley Trek with Alpine Ramble! My guide Suman and porter Ram were excellent and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Suman was always very attentive and explained much about the Nepali people and culture—I gained so much more insight into the way of life in Nepal than I could have without his explanations. He also always made sure we went the safest route and paid attention to how I was feeling along the way. Ram was also very attentive and I was super grateful as I would have struggled without his help. I talked with Dil before and after the trek and he was amazing to talk with and made sure I had everything I needed. I’m so glad I got to meet everyone I did during this trek and Alpine Ramble was an excellent choice!Show more

  Dil is the best! He managed our booking for the entire trip. We went for the Langtang trek - 6 days trek with an uphill climbing to 5000m high. The instructor, Ram, who accompanied us in the trek, was always attentive and caring. The porter, Sandip, was great. Dil, the owner, is a real friend. He was attentive and flexible for our keep changing requests and always managed to control the changes in a timely manner. Thank you so much for a great experience in Nepal. I will surely come back to visit again. I highly recommend Alpine Ramble!Show more

  Spectacular Trekking Experience in Himalayas I participated to 10 days Lang Tang Valley trekking tour at the end of July 2022. It was monsoon time a bit rainy but fantastic. Calm and relax. Not so much trekkers around and you can taste the virgin nature. My experienced guide Laxman Gurung is a real gentlemen and treated me as a close friend, so I always felt good and secure within this wild nature. Lang Tang trekking is a serious sports trekking activity. Almost climbing or downhills, dont expect flat surfaces. You must prepare your physical conditions to this prior to participate Average speed at best 1,5 km/hour may be the evidence of it's difficulty 😀 Thanks to Dil Gurung (the owner) who warned me before to hire a porter to carry the bag for me. It was very good idea indeed, so I completed the entire tour around 36 kilometers in 55 hours. I highly recommed this tour as well as Alpine Rambler Trekking Company for their well prepared honest organisation and facing no surprises laterShow more

  Outstanding service from my first enquire As soon as I emailed asking questions about a trek in Langtang valley I would get immediate response from Dill and his team (even a WhatsApp) so communication was great. Literally on my arrival everything was taken care off ride from the airport to hotel etc etc. I met my guide Samir he treated me like a king it was a little bit of a culture shock at first but his hospitality was absolutely second to none he was extremely attentive made sure I had everything I needed and helped me out on the trek the whole way, I was sick the last couple of days of the trek he wouldn’t even let me carry my own bag he insisted on carrying it and I could genuinely see he was concerned for my health ( I was fine in the end). Samir was good fun also on the trek teaching me a trekking song and telling me about his family too. He was just a great host I can not express that enough. I would not think twice about using ALPINE RAMBLE again they really welcomed me and i feel like a very valuable customer and great value for money. They did not spare expense on getting the best rooms on the trek I was never left hungry or needing anything. Absolutely incredible trip i would recommend Samir as a guide and Dill and his team in a heat beat. FANTASTIC 5 starsShow more
