Itinerary
- Day 1
Morogoro to Mikumi National Park
Your driver and guide pick you up from the ferry or hotel, then it's about a 5-hour drive to Mikumi National Park. You'll stop in Morogoro for lunch before heading into the park for an afternoon game drive that runs until sunset. By evening, you're settled at either Mikumi NP Tourist Cottage or Lodge for the night.

- Day 2
Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, you head out for a full day game drive across Mikumi National Park with packed lunch boxes. The Mkata Floodplain is where you'll look for lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, and elephants, plus wild dogs in packs and over 300 bird species. You return to the lodge for dinner and another night.

Landmarks Mikumi National Park Mkata Floodplain - Day 3
Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam
Start early for a sunrise game drive (around 2.5 hours), then come back to camp for breakfast. After that, you drive back toward Dar es Salaam with a lunch stop along the way. Your driver drops you at the airport, hotel, or ferry terminal depending on your onward plans. Note that if you're staying somewhere outside the park, there's no game drive on this day.
