Rainbow mountain is incredible! 1.35 mile walk each way was not too hard, even at 17k feet.. Option for horseback or ATV. Spectacular views of Rainbow Mountain plus the valley and vistas of the glacier clad high Andes. Be prepared for 9 hour bus ride. Breakfast and lunch spot was not very good, worst meals we had in Peru. Might be worthwhile to pack your own. Definitely worth the trip to see this incredible geological phenomenonShow more
