Our family of four booked with New Horizons for the 6 Days Rwanda-Uganda Gorilla Experience. We made a few changes to the 'standard' itinerary to suit our preferences and New Horizons were very accommodating and responsive to our requests. The tour itself was an amazing experience, combining wildlife tours while also learning of Rwandan/Ugandan culture. Hotels and food options were also excellent. Our guide for the tour, Viateur, was absolutely fantastic. He took care of all of our needs and shared his own personal perspectives of life in eastern Arica. Hearing from local guides gave us a much broader experience on the tour and we very much hope to visit this part of the world again in the future.Show more

  1. Transport from airport to and from is provided or not ? 2. Planning to be there night before the tour starts ( jan 15th 7:30 pm arrival to Kigali). So need an accommodation 1 extra night . Where is the hotel and can you give me information so I can book 1 night extra . Or give me additional price to book extra night 3. Can I use a hiking stick in the gorilla trekk? One knee is a bit weaker . 4. Is Burundi possible to add on this tour and give me info on the price and itinerary.

  1. We Provide all ground transports inclusive of airport transfers. 2. Depending on the level of Hotel you would like to stay at; if budget we can say Yambi Guest House or Nziza View Lodge. Mid range one can try Hotel des Milles Colline or 2000 Hotel Downtown, Luxury include Kigali Marriott Hotel. 3. Hiking sticks are provided at the park's office and if you have one yes it can be used. 4. Yes it's possible to add Burundi as land borders are open.

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 2nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 2nd, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with New Horizon Africa Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 90 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and New Horizon Africa Safaris will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "New Horizon Africa Safaris" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
