  I travelled late October with Glorious Himalaya Trekking to the mountains of the Himalaya. From the airport exit onwards I felt immediatly comfortable with my stay and guidance in Kathmandu. Ganesh, which communicates excellent via Whatsapp (don't know how he responds so quickly :D) , explained me everything and we ran over the itinerary. Flight to Lukla and hopping on the bus to Ramechap airport (only because of maintenance Kathmandu airport) was quite long and hectic, but you could always contact Ganesha if there was something wrong. I still arrived quite early in Lukla alive and well :) Then the trekking started and I can summarize it in a few words. Magical, great views, amazing weather, bit sick, but my guide (Dak nam) was always there to assist me and give some information. Not a lot of comfort, but yeah what do you expect at 5000m? I actually thought it would be a lot worse. He told me a lot about climate, fauna and flora, routes, mountains, personal life,etc... Please prepare for test at the end of trekking whereby you need to name all the mountains you have seen. I think I reached 16 :) All in all a great journey with Glorious Himalaya which I will really recommend to all my friends, family,... Special thanks to Dak Nam who is always eager to learn about the English language and good luck with growing your kiwi's at your home in the winter season.   Ganesh (Glorious Himalaya) organized a Gokyo-EBC Trek for me. As I was trekking alone, I could change my program anytime. I could count on him all the time, so I managed to make a great trek (my 9th in Nepal!). My guide Shiva was amazing: always there when I needed him, not there when he realized I wanted to be on my own and enjoy the fantastic views. A great experience, would always recommend Ganesh & his team. I hope to realize my last "dream trek" also with them: Mustang!Show more

  Highly recommended! Me and my girlfriend had a great trek to Gokyo Ri, booked with Glorious Himalaya Trekking. We highly recommend booking a trek via Glorious Himalaya Trekking because: (1) Great communication before the start of the trek with owner Ganesh. He responded very quickly to every question via e-mail and Whatsapp, and he gives very useful information about the trek. (2) our guide Dakman was the best!   It was my first time in Nepal having the Himalayan experience. My husband and I were planning to spend our holiday in Nepal for a long time, and also it was my longtime dream to trek to Himalaya and be in the mountains. We then finally decided to venture for both Gokyo and Everest Base Camp which later turned into a lifetime experience for us. Having completed this trek successfully with the help of the Glorious Himalaya Team, we had luck with the weather and everything went as per the plan. Despite the cold weather and physical challenges, we made it with the help of porters and our guide Roshan. We enjoyed every moment in the mountains and would like to thank the entire team of Glorious Himalaya for excellently organizing this trip for us. We will definitely be back to Nepal with our children shortly and recommend this trek to everyone !!!Show more
