  The tour was all it promised to be but it was our guide Erdem who made it exceptional. Considerate of all guests, phoning ahead so hotel check ins were quick and seamless and imparting 1000s of years of challenging history with an unbiased and balanced perspective. Erderm opened our eyes to so much and gave us lots of opportunity to enjoy free time at sites. It was a well balanced tour of the ancient Civilisations, epic memories of ballooning across Cappadocia fairy chimneys as the sun rose and introuction to the famous textiles, crafts and food culture of Turkey. I also must mention our bus driver Yusef who took great care of us particularly in the hazardous torrential downpours we had for a couple of days. This tour has made an indelible footprint on our souls and we will be highly recommending it to friends. Thank you.Show more

  As an agent they were very responsive and easy to reach. My clients loved their trip, the team was very courteous, friendly and kind. For them the speed was very balanced. The transport used was very new and clean. The only complaint was that one of the guide smoked a lot close to the bus and the smell was getting inside the vehicle which was not good for my client since she is allergic to cigarette. The transfer team was amazing helping them with the checking and guiding them through the airportShow more

  Overall the tour is Excellent. The Tour Guide Erdem is very well versed and have a depth of knowledge throughout the tour. He is also good at keeping our small group intact and ensure everyone is still within the group. His time keeping is also excellent and keep reminding us on the time for us to meet or regroup. Our driver is also great and helpful. Helping us with our luggage when we moving to our next destinations. His driving skills and experience is excellent. He drive at a slower pace when there’s a very strong wind along the highway. He’s not rushing to reach our destinations and ensure we have a pleasant ride throughout our journey. The hotels varies along the tour. It’s can be excellent to good to fair depending on the locations. Same with the buffet breakfast, most hotels serve almost the same food. Noting much to expect from the hotels as we just need a place to rest after long day and move on the next day. Overall I’m very satisfied with our small group of 5pax tourShow more

  This has been by far the most disappointing tour that I have ever taken as a history enthusiast. I did the tour in Spanish but I was sent the wrong itinerary hence I was expecting the tour to include the Topkapi Palace which is not the case, instead they will take you to the "soap operas neighborhood" which clearly makes no sense, but this is just the beginning of the time wasting. On the way to Ankara the bus broke down with a four to five hour delay hence there was no time to even partially see the city. Then came the worst for a history lover like me: only around 45 minutes allotted to see the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations one of the most important archaeological museums in the planet, but the time is so dramatically insufficient that I couldn't even see 50% of the exhibits. Only to be followed by a visit to the Ataturk Mausoleum which is just as long as the visit to the museum when this place can actually be visited in much less than 30 minutes because there's nothing to see really. This is a disgraceful misallocation of the available time. Since there is only one day in the Kappadocia region, the chances of getting on the hot air balloon are a coin toss since the weather conditions have to be perfect for it to happen. There's no even time to climb the Uchisar Castle. Then one of my favorite parts of the tour: wasting precious time in a jewelry store listening to a sales pitch and have you there for more than an hour trying to force sell you some jewelry. And after that.. you guessed it: another sales pitch again miserably wasting your time trying to sell you some carpets. You'll only have time to take a glance of Ephesus, they wouldn't even take you to the activities that are included with the ticket such as the interactive digital museum which greatly enhances the experience. And then... yes, yet another sales pitch this time trying to sell you leather goods. In Bergama they will take you to the askeplion which is nice but it makes no sense the fact that there's no visit to the acropolis and the actual ancient city. This is like going to Paris and being shown Sainte-Chapelle instead of Notre Dame, this was the tipping point when I decided this is not even worth 3 stars. Then there's Troy which can be seen in 45 min but we were there for barely 30 min without even time to take a few extra pictures, basically in and out. We didn't even go to the Troy Museum which is right on the site and has great reviews. Again, it escapes me why the Bergama acropolis was not included since we got to Canakkale several hours before sunset since Troy is only 30 min from Canakkale. I guess some people wanted to have time to bathe in the Aegean sea... of all places. From day 4 onwards you will spend the overwhelming majority of the time with your rear end sitting on a bus. The quality of the food in the places the bus stops, prix-fixe menu in the hotels, and some breakfasts, was questionable (to say the least) around half the time. Same goes for hotels quality. The second star goes for the fact that the constumer service was prompt and the guide, Orkur, was knowledgeable and professional. Conclusion: if you love history this tour is NOT for you.Show more

  Hi Marcos Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that the tour was not able to satisfy you. The Spanish tour itinerary is slightly different than English itinerary. e.g. Spanish tour is not a small group tour and doesn't visit Topkapı Palace, or Acropolis of Pergamon, etc. Instead it visits other important locations. The requested visits ar not in the program of Spanish guided groups. The description of the program explains it well. Eskapas itineraries are well balanced program between visits, free time, shopping, etc. This tour is a well established tour since 2000. Every step in the program is well calculated. Of course it is a group tour and time restrictions limit travelers comparing with a private tour. Our package includes nice 4-star hotels, guides and all entrance fees . Kind Regards, Aysegul

  Abdullah was a Very knowledgeable guide. With the exception of hotel in Pammmukle all the hotels were clean and had helpful staff. I feel the buffet meals in the evening cater for alll. Breakfasts always had a range of foods. Bus was comfortable, free bottle water daily. Entering sites of interest was very organised and we were always told what to expect and usually had enough time to view places of interest. For those less mobile there were options for them. A small group of 14 people in our tour was a bonus, particularly using toilets.Show more
