  Our guide Long Pham from realistic asia was superb. Our tour and all activities, car pickups, hotel arrangements were seemless. Other employees of realistic asia who took us out on site seeing tours in cambodia were also incredibly polite and helpful. It was like my sister and i got a personalised tour! I recommend the trip and Realistic Asia very highly. If we did it again we would probably avoid the hustle and bustle of the big cities (hanoi and hoi chi min city ) which were way more chaotic than we expected but we stayed in great hotels so they provided a place to retreat from the city busyness.   We spent a wonderful time in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Phuket, Thailand. The itinerary was well balanced between private tours and guided tours. Personally, I’m not a big fan of guided tours and prefer to explore on my own, sometimes even without a thoroughly planned route. I like the mix of impressions—ambience, people, architecture—to build up naturally rather than in a predetermined way. That’s how I get the real feeling and authentic touch, if I can put it that way. In Vietnam we visited many interesting places, but it’s a country you must feel, not just read about. Cambodia was the same—full of personal experiences and impressions. In Thailand we took a deep breath and relaxed on the beaches and islands. We met many interesting people—not only tourists like us, with whom we shared thoughts, but also locals. The tour guides had very different styles, which was also fascinating to observe. One was more humorous and adventurous, another was sophisticated and highly experienced. We took something valuable from each of them and are grateful for the experience. What we didn’t like as much—my friend and I—was the narrow room in Ho Chi Minh City with a tiny window (some rooms in that hotel had no window at all), and the hotel room in Phuket, which we ended up changing for a better one in the same hotel. The breakfast there was also not very good. Overall, we had a great experience and I highly recommend it. Everywhere we went—across the five flights and different locations—we were met by a driver and a comfortable car. I would suggest that there is no need for two people to use a van meant for six or eight passengers, but that’s just a small recommendation.Show more

  We have just returned from the most incredible holiday through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, and we cannot recommend Realistic Asia highly enough – especially our wonderful contact, Long. Our itinerary took us through Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, then across to Siem Reap (including the breathtaking Angkor Wat), and finally on to Phuket – and every single stop was seamless, memorable and perfectly organised. Unfortunately, our trip began with a rocky start when the airline caused us to miss our connecting flight. We were stressed and worried about how this would impact our plans, but Long and the team at Realistic Asia went completely above and beyond. They quickly rearranged our itinerary and accommodation to maximise our time in Hanoi so we didn’t miss out on any key experiences. It genuinely turned what could have been a disaster into something barely noticeable. What truly set this company apart was the personal touch. Long met us in Hanoi himself, which immediately made us feel looked after and valued. He checked in with us daily throughout the trip, ensuring everything was running smoothly and responding instantly to any questions. All of our tours were exceptional. The guides were knowledgeable, professional and had a great sense of humour, bringing each destination to life. The hotels were consistently clean, comfortable, in excellent locations and staffed by friendly teams. This was hands down one of the best holidays we have ever had, and that is largely thanks to Realistic Asia and Long’s dedication and care.   My husband and I booked this trip for our honeymoon, we were so busy we didn't have time to plan a trip. We are so happy we did, it went so smoothly! They were so flexible with our booking we upgraded some hotels like the Ho Long Bay cruise and HCMC, and we also wanted to stay longer in Hoi an. A few weeks before they send you the entire itinerary with the flight details. Throughout the trip they were always available and communicated about the next days itinerary. The trip was nice mix of activities with free days and some tours, all the tours we enjoyed, our favourites were Ho Long Bay and the tunnels. Would highly recommend this tour!Show more

Guides spoke well enough English. They were knowledgeable, informative and glad to answer our questions. Our tour coordinator Edna was exceptional.She always kept tabs on our travels. She would outline and prompt us every evening about our plans next day and made sure that we could make the best of our time. She was quick and prompt to address our and fixed any problems quickly. From start to finish everything went smoothly, and I feel grateful for the wonderful memories I’ve made. We visited fantastic places like Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, each offering something special. Hanoi was vibrant and full of life — perfect for exploring the culture and local food. Ha Long Bay was simply stunning; cruising through the limestone cliffs felt magical and is something everyone should experience at least once. What impressed me most was the excellent organisation. All transfers to and from airports and excursions were perfectly on time. The hotels were clean, comfortable and located in great areas, which made it easy to explore on my own. The excursions were led by professional and friendly local guides who shared interesting stories and made every stop meaningful. The itinerary was well-balanced with a good mix of activities and free time. A very special thanks to my contact person Chris (Thang). His service was outstanding — he replied quickly to all my messages, provided accurate information and made sure everything went smoothly. The 3 star hotels were surprisingly good, situated in good locations, close to tourist objectives. A good mix of local tours and free days.
