I am 61year old and my daughter who is 26 years old. We are not super fit - if this terk harder than ghorepanni / poon hill? Which one would you recommend? Also would we need to carry much weight when treking?

Namaste. The Everest View Trek is quite similar in difficulty to the Ghorepani/Poon Hill Trek - perhaps just a little longer in walking days, but not necessarily harder. If you prefer something easier and scenic with comfortable walking hours, Ghorepani/Poon Hill is ideal. If you want a slightly more adventurous experience with closer views of Everest and surrounding peaks, the Everest View Trek would be perfect. You won't need to carry much weight during the trek - your main bag will be carried by a porter, so you'll just carry a small daypack with essentials like water, snacks, and a jacket.

does this trek go to Poon Hill?

this trek does not include poon hill but in terms of views, it would remain the same! in order to include poon hill, it takes at least 12 days in total!

How strenuous are the treks we are in our early sixties and reasonably fit

They manage to arrange the transport and tea house along the way even I decide to adjust the route trek on the same day. Dil also give me a detailed briefing before the trek to help me further understand the whole itinerary. The sleeping bag provided are able to keep me warm at ABC’s tea house.
