Group Size: The tour accommodates 3 to 15 travelers. We currently have 3 people signed up. Tour Price Breakdown: The total cost of the tour is 1,810 EUR. This includes a base price of 1,510 EUR, plus a local payment of 300 EUR (or 350 USD) to be paid in cash to the tour guide on Day 1.

Can this tour be less time such as 6 nights? There is a US level 3 warning for Nigeria, and we aren't comfortable going to the north.

We can organise a shorter trip for you. We do not go to the north and this is a standard itinerary. Maybe we can skip Badagry in this case. Let us work on sugegsted itinerary and will get back to you

I'd like to know: 1. What hotel accommodations will I be staying at, and are they included in the overall trip package? 2. Yes, it may be possible to shorten the trip to around five days. You could potentially join the group and depart on Day 6 in the evening, or on Day 7 from Abuja, depending on flight availability and logistics. Please note that any changes to the itinerary may require a customized travel arrangement and might affect the overall price.

Is it possible to get transfers if we book an extra night? How much does an extra overnight cost?

Extra overnight costs 90 EUR per room. If you book the additional overnight, we will arrange the transfer. The airport transfer is only included on the first day of the trip.

I'm curious to find out what the price would be. Yes I will be travelling alone. It's those dates because it's between two other tour. After I'm planning to go to Chad, and therefore from Abuja. As long as the borders are open we will run the tours. The next group is going there in the end of November. We recommend you to buy a travel insurance to avoid any cancellations on your side if you don't feel comfortable to travel. Please be advised the visa procedure takes at least few weeks.

Tourist visa in Nigeria does not work very well. What we did for our last group in February is to issue a business visa. The price was 350 USD but that worked out well and we were the only company to run a trip there in FEB.

I chose Penguin as the Itinerary they organised had a good balance of the time spent in the vicinities of the two main cities of Lagos and Abuja at a very competitive price. Accommodation was middle of the road standard but provided what is needed in countries in West Africa - security, cleanliness, AC and surprisingly good Wifi. Big shout out to Ivaylo, the Penguin tour guide who was an excellent, experienced and fun tour guide. The local partner company Penguin use are top rate as well. Only 4 stars as I had an issue with communication with Penguin before the tour but in the end all worked well.Show more
