  Is it possible to have a single accommodations? If so, approximately how much would the surcharge be? Furthermore, would it be possible to extend our stay in Zanzibar, at the end of the trip? How much would the extra day cost?

    For the Serengeti Safari & Zanzibar tour, we do not offer post-accommodation in Zanzibar. What we can recommend is reaching out to the last hotel directly and arranging additional nights through them.

    €409 surcharge would cover a single occupancy for 7 days in a hotel room and 4 days in tent. Is that correct? And may I also ask what are your usual arrangements for solo travellers? Sharing rooms and guests with another guest chosen at random?

    If you have book the "My Own Room/Tent" option for this tour, you will receive your own single room/tent for all night stops.
    
    Alternative if you are happy to share, you would be paired up with someone of the same gender for the trip

  What is the camping Accommodation like please. Is is a safe trip for a Lady travelling herself

    The camping is very comfortable. The tents are large and are set up by the staff and is definitely safe. We stay at designated campsites inside of and nearby the national reserves and parks. These campsites are generally very basic. All camping equipment is supplied, including camp mattresses. We supply dome tents that take 5 minutes to assemble. Tents have built-in mesh insect netting. Camps are open to the natural environment, so care must be taken at night. This is a 'full service camping' experience where staff will pitch tents, prepare meals, and handle washing up.

  Do you have an age restriction on safari trips? I am 80 and have been on many long haul and adventure holidays in recent years - mainly with Explore. I have no medical conditions. I appreciate that my insurance will be quite expensive. G Adventure holidays have been recommended by friends now in their 70's

    We do have different travel styles, and some are age restricted, but this one you have chosen (Serengeti Safari & Zanzibar) is in our Classic range which means all ages over 18 are invited to join!

    Yes, you will be sharing with another traveller whom is of the same gender on your tour. We do have the My Own Room option for this tour

  What's the average age of the group. I'm 33 and don't want to be stuck with all 18 year olds. Can o add an extra day in Zanzibar too?

    There are currently thirteen travelers confirmed for this departure date ranging from being born on the 1950's through to the 1990's. Currently a large portion of the travelers were born in the 1980's & 1990's.

    Thank you. My other question was whether o could travel on the 12th or has to be there then as I am doing a charity bike ride the day before on the 11th. Also my only hesitation is the camping. Do you guys offer a more comfortable tour option in a lodge at all?

    You can arrive anytime on September 12 to Arusha (most people fly into Kilimanjaro Airport) so as long as your flight gets you there that day, you can make the tour. The tour will depart Arusha the morning of day 1. You would need to choose another tour if you want upgraded accommodations / no camping.

    Kilimanjaro International airport (JRO) is the airport that you should arrive into for this tour, this is approximately 40km, or 40 minutes, from Arusha.
