Transport to and from airport are not included but can be added for an extra cost. Uber also works in Peru but I think it i more common in Lima. You can also take a taxi from the airport.

Would it be possible to hike to machu Pichu instead of the train ride?

Unfortunately, we have to be really strict about the age restrictions. If we were more lenient on this, we would be false advertising and may lead to customer dissatisfaction or miss-selling of our product. We can not make any exceptions as we physically can not book anyone over the age of 39 on this travel style.

When looking at the itinerary, I do not see information on the meeting/departure point. Where does the tour guide meet/leave individuals and will additional details be provided upon booking? When looking at the itinerary, some of the days are labeled 1B,1L or both. what does this mean? For the additional activities, are we able to add them when booking or will we be required to pay onsite (is cash or credit recommended when travelling to Peru?)? If so, is there a way to see the cost?

We provide joining instructions after you've completed our Good to Go form, this has the hotel meeting address and other information. 1B means one breakfast, 1L means one lunch and 1D means one dinner. These are the meals that are automatically included on the trip. All of the optional activities for this trip can be decided and paid for when you're on the tour. I would recommend bring some cash for Peru, their currency is the Sol.
