    What kind of room is included with this price on the train? If we are sleeping on the train, we would like a room with a bathroom. What is the price for this upgrade? Do you have a drink package? Deposit when and amount, when is the final payment due?

      All train seats on this tour are in cabin (standard) class and there is no drink package. This tour does not have any overnight stays on a train. Deposit is $250.00 USD per person and final payment is due roughly 2 months prior to departure.

    What happens if you are older than 80 years? I'm still active and busy throughout the day so why is there an age limit. I'm 79 yrs, and in good health. Isn't this discrimination?

      We are not strict about the maximum age limit. We only require that you are able to keep up with the tour, able to get on and off the motor coach unassisted and walk up or down a full flight of stairs.

      Your primary mood of transportation for this tour will be on the motor coach. You will only ride the train on day 6 of the tour when travel from Durango to Mesa Verde National Park.

      You will only be on the motor coach when being transported to and from activities and hotels. Your tour comprise of the train rail system. You will travel this off-the-beaten path tour of the U.S. West chugging through the untamed beauty of the Royal Gorge aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railway; through the magnificent mesas and canyons of San Juan National Forest aboard the Durango & Silverton Narrow-Gauge Railroad; and through the rugged splendor of the Rockies aboard the historic Georgetown Loop Railroad.
