  A great tour, very active and busy. Tour guide Nishantha was enthusiastic and was very knowledgable. Adam's peak was busy-didn't realise it was school holidays and pilgrimage time. They ran the 'tour' even though I was the only person which was great as I had a small time frame to fit it in, although it made me realise in the future group tours are more for me. Very organised tour and good communication throughout the process with the company.Show more

  Amazing and unforgettable trip. We did so much in two weeks. I love that it was a very active tour. We hiked, biked, safaried, and immersed in cultural activities. Hiking Adam's Peak was a once in a lifetime experience. It was a challenge, but felt so rewarding after completing it. We saw so many animals; it was wonderful. Our guide was kind and very accommodating. I gave it a 4 star rating because some of our accommodations weren't very comfortable, some of our tours were disorganized that we never knew when we would break for lunch, and we did not know how much cash we needed for certain tours. Overall, this trip was one of my favorites. I will definitely be returning to Sri Lanka.Show more

  When booked I upgraded to have a single room. When no one else ended up booking the tour they kept the upgrade fee...
  When booked I upgraded to have a single room. When no one else ended up booking the tour they kept the upgrade fee $700. The guide showed up hungover 3 times. One night he texted me at 9:45pm asking where I was after drinking for a couple hours with his friend. Every day his personal space reduced. I asked for a change of guide which ended up being a driver that didn't speak english and me helping him to navigate. He was 3 hours late and got lost on a highway. I gathered from his broken english that he was not a licensed guide and was just a friend of the company doing them a favor.Show more

  Dear Anna, We’re sorry to hear of your less than satisfactory experience on the tour and we hope you will accept our sincerest apologies. However, we cannot agree with your comments and we would like to provide some clarifications. As you know, you booked the tour on the 7th of November 2019 with the single supplement, which was a mandatory requirement for this tour. We didn't charge any extra fees for private tour upgrade. In regards to your tour leader Buddhika, we are sorry to hear that you misunderstood him. The day you mentioned that you received a message at 09.45 pm, you had spent a free day in Ella by yourself. That is why our driver texted you to make sure you were safe since he knew you would be back at the hotel a bit late. As you know, Ella is very famous for its evening entertainment such as pubs and restaurants, hence we advised all our guides to keep in touch with the travelers to ensure their security. On the last day morning, you requested a different guide to pick you up, so we had to find a person to take you to Colombo on short notice. We understand each and everyone’s personal opinion is different, that is why we once again apologize for any inconvenience occurred to you during the tour. Best regards, Hasitha Lansakara

  We were a group from New Zealand and the UK. We had Sidath as our tour guide. He was wonderful! He had huge knowledge of the country, and the local weather which worked to out advantage with the safari’s etc. He always recommended good places to eat in our free time and was very good at answering all our questions. The tour included everything we could fit into two weeks in Sri Lanka well. The accommodation we stayed in was very nice along the way. We loved our time in Sri Lanka and would recommend to anyoneShow more
