A 20-day cultural tour winds through 20 destinations across Sri Lanka, showcasing 8 UNESCO World Heritage sites. The package includes 19 nights in boutique hotels, daily breakfasts, and private AC transport. Travelers visit ancient capitals, wildlife parks, tea plantations, and coastal gems like Galle Fort.

- Days 1-2

"The beachside location helps you recover from jet lag while still experiencing local life," one visitor notes. On your second day, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on your way to Kandy. The drive takes about 3 hours so it's best to leave early before it gets too hot.

- Days 3-5
Cultural Triangle
Make this area your base to explore Sri Lanka's cultural treasures. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic before 8:30 AM to avoid the crowds. The drive to Sigiriya takes about 2.5 hours. The scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya brings cooler weather, so pack some warm clothes as temperatures can drop to 10°C (50°F). According to one traveler: "The 3-hour hike at Horton Plains needs to start by 6 AM - clouds typically roll in by 10 AM, obscuring World's End viewpoint." Book ahead for the scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella in the observation car.

- Days 14-17

Travel from Mirissa to Galle for varied coastal experiences. Book whale watching tours (December-April) in the early morning when the sea is calmer. Visit ancient Anuradhapura before moving on to Sigiriya. Stop at Minneriya and Kaudulla National Parks to see the famous elephant gathering. - Nature's Secret Sri Lanka - 21 Days
Excellent off the beaten track tour.
- Tour to Sri Lanka 20 Days/19 Nights
We had 20 days tour to Sri Lanka started on April 1st, 2025. Our amazement started from the first moment when we meet our chauffeur (It is more than driver and little less than guide) Pradeep. We been greeting with flower garland and on front of our car was input our name to help us to identify our car easily. Everyday Pradeep greed us with warm smile and his clean car with fresh bottles of water always been at time near hotel entrance. We loved conversation with our chauffeur during long drive. Pradeep was very helpful with our need. Sightseeing and tours were amazing. Every day we dig deeply in history and culture of Sri Lanka. By the end of our travel, we spend time relaxing on the beaches. We spend 2 nights in Tangalle and one night in Hikkaduwa. Now, when we look back, we prefer to spend more time in Hikkaduwa than in Tangalee, because beaches are much better in Hikkaduwa. Most of our accommodation were small family hotels for 4 to 8 rooms. Each of those has their beauty and owners or workers are kind of. Our tour was excellent. We had a great experience. Thank you, Pradeep for your exeptional service and desires to show the best of your country.
- Sri Lanka Untouched Wildlife
I’ve done many safaris over the past 50 years across different African countries, but my most recent and first trip to Sri Lanka was the best ever. SkyHaven Tours surpassed all my expectations and delivered a top-quality 18-day journey that still leaves me in awe. We saw monkeys in the trees, deer everywhere, sloth bears, and elephants in abundance. We even came across a family of Sri Lankan leopards, with more than three together! Hornbills, fish eagles, and serpent eagles were a real treat, along with countless colorful birds. A giant python crossed the road right in front of our jeep, iguanas were everywhere, and there were water buffaloes all around many with newborn calves which was incredible to witness. It was wonderful, amazing, and spectacular all at the same time.
