  We had 20 days tour to Sri Lanka started on April 1st, 2025. Our amazement started from the first moment when we meet our chauffeur (It is more than driver and little less than guide) Pradeep. We been greeting with flower garland and on front of our car was input our name to help us to identify our car easily. Everyday Pradeep greed us with warm smile and his clean car with fresh bottles of water always been at time near hotel entrance. We loved conversation with our chauffeur during long drive. Pradeep was very helpful with our need. Sightseeing and tours were amazing. Every day we dig deeply in history and culture of Sri Lanka. By the end of our travel, we spend time relaxing on the beaches. We spend 2 nights in Tangalle and one night in Hikkaduwa. Now, when we look back, we prefer to spend more time in Hikkaduwa than in Tangalee, because beaches are much better in Hikkaduwa. Most of our accommodation were small family hotels for 4 to 8 rooms. Each of those has their beauty and owners or workers are kind of. Our tour was excellent. We had a great experience.   Three of us just completed our 19 night tour. Upon booking it said there could be up to 8 persons with three places left. We thought we booked the last three places but I was just the three of us. One day, we had some issues with our driver due to lack of language skills and poor communication. We had to direct him to our hotel and use our internet to drive around the city. This driver soon departed, and the company was quick to replace our driver once we finally made contact with them. The itinerary was more of a suggestion, there are entry fees to everything listed. We were given a list of activites with their pricing which was not accurate and missing 70% off what was mentioned on the itinerary. Prices were alot higher than advertised for these activities. Keep in mind they include a 'DRIVER' not a guide so once you arrive at your destination, you are on your own. Most hotels were okay, but far out on the centre or cities. We were told alot of hotels have change their names and we directed our driver to each hotel via our Google maps. Getting to the city or finding places to eat around our hotels was extremely difficult and there was no suggestions of where to go or any restaurants. Sadly, I believe the company didn't organise any meals nor accomidation for our driver so they were not staying with us or near us most nights and had to organise their own place to sleep. Overall, I feel we could have travelled Sri Lanka on our own, for much cheaper even with quality accommodation. The tour seemed unorganised as we felt some hotel were not expecting us and were shocked to see us, even with a hotel asking us to pay as the company had not paid their bill. We would like to thank our driver though as he tried he best to make our trip memorable, was personable, lovely company and helped us out. Given he was called in last minute with no time to prepare he did his best. We were happy with his English, he understood us and offered to transport us to activites. Without the new driver we would have possibly left this tour early on. So thankyou Neel ???? I hope they can make improvements to their 20 days tour as it has the potential to be great.Show more
