  I had an amazing time on the EBC trek. The guide and porter were exceptional — they prioritised safety at all times and were incredibly patient and supportive, especially when I struggled on the hikes. They always adjusted to my pace, which made the experience much more enjoyable and manageable. The guest houses throughout the trek were clean and well looked after for the remote location that they are in, and the team did their best to keep us comfortable despite the cold weather. Overall, it was a very well-organised and supportive trip, and I would highly recommend it.Show more

  Amazing tour with amazing guide and porter. There were only two of us in the tour but we were very well looked after. The company also provided us with an alternative choice at a minimal cost before the start of the tour in order for us to get back to Kathmandu earlier from the trip.Show more

  Great experience from start to finish. Rana (owner of Adventure Himalayan Travels) is exceptionally committed to his clients; he responds quickly and truly cares. He wants everyone to have the best experience possible! The guide (Man) and porter (Anil) were wonderful -- helpful, patient, cheerful. One suggestion for future travelers is to start each day as early as possible (ie, breakfast when kitchen opens, out on the trail around sunrise or shortly after). Doing this avoided getting caught behind/within some very large tour groups. Let the sun guide your sleep/wake patterns and you'll have a much better experience on this amazing trek.Show more

  We recently completed the Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return through Adventure Himalaya Rana and Team. My wife, daughter and I had an incredible time and it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. We had a private tour with our personal tour guide, Durga, and a porter. Durga was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and brought us back safely. It was a challenging, yet amazing experience and we are so happy to have checked this bucket list item off with Adventure Himalaya. Rana has been extremely helpful since the minute we booked the tour and was always available and quick to answer any questions that we had. The entire process was very smooth and it’s evident that this team had very experienced members that are well aware of the in and outs of this base camp trek. We were in good hands. For example, on the first day our flight to Lukla was cancelled due to bad weather but the team organized a helicopter take off to avoid delaying our trek. This was truly an incredible experience for our family and we appreciate Rana, Durga, Dipi, and the rest of the adventure himalaya team!Show more

  I had an amazing tour with this company. Rana was great with communication and answering all my question. He personally picked my up and dropped me off at the airport. In addition, he helped me make plans for my stay in Kathmandu. My guide on the trek was thoughtful caring and knowledgeable. I learned so much about Nepal, the Himalayas, and the various cultures. Even when traveling in the off season, we lucked out and had fairly good weather for the majority of the trek. However, my guide was able to make small adaptations to the itinerary to ensure that we had the best experience on the few days with cloudy weather or if some places were closed. My guide was a great motivator and was really great about making sure we walked at a pace that was right for me. In addition all the tea houses we stayed at were very accommodation and we were able to meet and get to know some of the families that run them. Overall, I would highly recommend my guide and this experience to anyone who is up for an adventure! This was an invaluable experience and I recommend this tour group to help you with your adventures.Show more

  We did the Everest Base Camp trek with helicopter return in March of 2020, and had an excellent experience. I highly recommend Adventure Himalayan Travel for this trek. From the moment Rana picked us up at the airport with welcome marigolds we knew we were in good hands. Rana and his team took care of every detail, from hotel bookings to lodging, the transit to Lukla and much more. Rana was very responsive with all email correspondence and even helped negotiate some beautiful Nepalese tapestries! Our guide and porter were exceptional and helped us every step of the journey. It was a great value for the price, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with them.Show more

Dambar went above and beyond for us to have the best trekking experience and because of him and adventure Himalayan we had the best experience.   My husband and I had a fantastic time on the EBC trek. What made it special was our lovely guide Suman who seems to know everyone on the mountains, made our trek pleasant and told us lots of stories and culture. We felt we were well looked after and the portions of the meals were huge.   We had an incredible experience and will never forget our time climbing to EBC. Thank you! The tour company had everything well organised for me and my travelling buddy, we always felt like we were in good hands. The trek was challenging but not too strenuous and we had plenty of time to relax, take in the views, eat & drink and enjoy ourselves en route. Suman was always checking on us especially at the higher altitudes for signs of altitude sickness. We had mild symptoms but were fine. Food was as good as anyone is going to get on a bare mountain range - i do miss a good Dhal Bhat and the Momos. If you like hot spicy food ask to try the local chillis they are insane! The choices of accommodation en route tended towards the cheaper options but we perfectly fine, just be prepared it's rarely going to be cosy (we didn't mind at all). Overall fantastic experience!Show more
