  On the positive side, it was a good programme to visit 4 countries, great chose of hotels, knowledgeable and friendly travel director, Carl. On the other side, his information about stores being closed on January 01-02nd was predominantly wrong. Two dinners were arranged at a very inconvenient hour, I.e. at 16.00 which somehow disappointed the entire group. Horse riding in a carriage was offered twice which was too much. Generally the trip left a good impression, it was worth going during the festive week around the New Year celebration.Show more

We also understand your comments regarding the repetition of the horse carriage experience and how this may have felt excessive.   Jampacked activities and I really wished it had more free time. More days spent in Switzerland instead of Germany would have made it perfect. Accommodations are almost perfect except for first 2 nights when they did not lay out the trundle bed even through they knew there will be three people in the room and we had to verbally ask. They corrected it after we complained. The only reason I’m giving it a perfect score is because our travel director Faith was outstanding and went above and beyond our expectations! Our bus driver Attila was excellent too. One has to be physically fit for this tour but overall enjoyable. This tour kept us wanting to return to Swtzerland someday!Show more

  Our Winter Wonderland tour was just wonderful under the leadership of Carl with a C. He was so interesting, kind, organized and funny and we stayed on schedule the whole time. The driver John was also exceptional. No one in our group got bus sick which is a major accomplishment. I am sad the tour had to end and enjoyed every single moment. Thank you for making this experience so meaningful. Our family will treasure the memories forever.Show more

  My father passed away over 2 years ago and wasn't planning any travel at the time. Insight Vacations' aggressive marketing to my deceased father has become harassment. Once they have your information they can also sell it. Prepare for endless nuisance calls and junk mailings.Show more

  Good tour guide. Most hotels were good except for Arcotel in Salsburg, AC hotel in Innsbruck and the Astoria in Luzern. Food service at all three was less than desirable, especially in Lucerne. Lana was very helpful when we I got sick with Covid, but nothing she could really do when I tested positive in Lucern.Show more
