Amazing boat with great food.
Tour takes you to all the key stops in Egypt and packs a lot into a few days.
Islam was a very professional and polite guide, who always explained the key information and made sure no one in the group got left behind.
Unforgettable trip

The tour guides were excellent and so was the food. The amenities on the cruise are virtually none, so there is nothing to do in between tours. The Wifi on the boat never works, so you will have no internet. There are lots of very early wake up times, so be prepared for lack os sleep. One of the worst parts are the optional tours. Most are a complete waste of time and money, but the tour organizers will try to pressure you to sign up. The horse and carriage ride in Luxor is the number one optional tour to avoid. I highly recommend avoiding the light show and Nubian village, which was the general consensus of everyone in our group. The hot air balloon is kind of a cool experience and the Abu Simbel temple is interesting to see, but the bus ride is over 4 hours each way, the bus leaves at 3:30 AM and the place is crazy crowded, so opinions were split on that one. The reason for so many 5 star reviews is the tour organizers putting lots of pressure on the guests to write reviews. The last couple of days are spent by them following everyone around and insisting they write reviews as they look over people’s shoulders while they are typing and saying you must give 5 stars. It was a full time job for me to continually avoid them, so I can share my honest opinion with future travelers.

Fantastic tour and I highly recommend Nourbelle tour! Our cruise guide Ahmed Elkalaf and Giza pyramids/GEM guide Abdou were both very knowledgeable and helpful. Everything went smoothly from bus tours, internal flights, airport pickup and drop off. I highly recommend this tour if Egypt is on your bucket list.

Ashraf did all the arrangements for us so the tour went smooth and silky. I'm sure it wasn't easy at all for him to match everyone's needs but he did it calmly, showing such a mindfulness. We were able to see cultural treasures, feel the rhythm of the local life, visiting local markets and doing city tours, and experience the tranquility of the mighty Nile.
The ship crew was also working hard to make us feel like home.
The whole team did a great job.
And what's more - our guides take part in excavations so you can really learn something straight from the horse's mouth.
And behind all these adventures and moments not to forget was Mohamed - the man who never sleeps, supervising everything, in order to make our dreams come true.
Well, you did it, guys. We had a wonderful journey! Thank you!

This trip is not for the faint hearted. A power packed and historical experience cruising the Nile river. Our guide Ahmed Elkallaf never tired in his commentary about the history and had well rounded discussions with the group. A truly magical experience. I reckon some downtime would be nice but with a country so rich in history who needs time to rest.

It was a well organized tour, hitting the key highlights. There is a lot of waiting time, so be prepared for that - but the sights definitely make up for it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and took good care of us.

Our trip to Egypt was an incredible and memorable experience filled with once-in-a-lifetime sights. Visiting the Pyramid of Giza was absolutely amazing, and the optional camel ride added a fun and special touch—my son especially loved it. The Grand Egyptian Museum tour was another highlight. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, and while the museum was very crowded, it was still impressive to see such an extraordinary collection in one place.
The hotel in Cairo was comfortable, with a spacious room and good overall accommodations. Although the room was a smoking room and had some odor, it was still a pleasant stay. The Nile cruise met our expectations for the price—it may not be a luxury cruise by Western standards, but it offered good value and a relaxing way to experience Egypt.
Some optional tours were on the pricey side, but several were truly unforgettable. The hot air balloon ride over Luxor at sunrise was easily one of the most memorable moments of the entire trip. During the Nile cruise excursions, our tour guide Hamed Mostafa was exceptional. He led us through all the iconic temples—Karnak, Luxor, Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Abu Simbel, and Philae Temple—with humor, energy, and deep knowledge that made the history come alive. We appreciate him still working hard even though he almost lost his voice at the end of the tour.
The temples were very crowded, which is expected during high season. We greatly appreciated having a guide who was strategic about timing, knew where to go for the best views and photos, and demonstrated integrity by respecting queues. This professionalism made the experience much more enjoyable.
While the Luxor city tour was less of a highlight, it did provide a unique and eye-opening perspective of local life. Overall, the itinerary was rich and well-organized, and the guidance helped us make the most of our time in a very busy destination.
Families traveling with kids or teens should know that the schedule can be demanding, with early mornings and multiple temple visits. Setting expectations ahead of time can help younger travelers enjoy the journey even more.
Travelers should be prepared for the realities of visiting Egypt’s most famous sites. Infrastructure at major attractions is limited compared to Western standards, and long lines, heavy crowds, and minimal crowd control are common—especially during peak season. While this can sometimes feel overwhelming, it’s an expected part of visiting such historic and popular destinations. Having an experienced tour guide is extremely helpful for navigating timing, choosing the best areas to visit, and managing photo opportunities efficiently.
Tipping is also deeply embedded in the local culture and can feel frequent or uncomfortable if you’re not prepared. Small tips are often expected for services, and it’s best to carry small bills and set expectations ahead of time to avoid awkward moments. Understanding this cultural difference in advance helps reduce frustration and allows you to focus more on the experience itself.
Despite these challenges, approaching the trip with patience, flexibility, and realistic expectations goes a long way. When viewed through this lens, the incredible history, iconic landmarks, and knowledgeable guides more than make up for the logistical inconveniences.
Overall, this was an unforgettable adventure filled with history, culture, and remarkable experiences that we will remember for years to come.

The tour is packed with plenty of activities that includes tour of some of the most iconic points in Egypt. The tour guide (Hamed) is very experienced and humerus with a lot of passions. You can learn a lot of Egyptian history if you are into it. If you don’t want to do your own scheduling, this will be a good option for you.
Since the schedule is pretty packed, be prepared to wake up early in the morning. Also, please be aware to read the detail about the trip cost. Some of the interesting tours are optional and will cost extra if you want to go. Also, tips are not included in the fare listed online.
