  My daughter is 17 years old would she be accepted on tours that say 18+?

    Contiki tours have an age restriction, requiring guests to be between 18-35 years old to participate. As you are outside this age range, you would not be eligible to join the trip. However, we have several sister brands that offer fantastic travel experiences from 5 years old and above age restrictions: Trafalgar, Costsaver, Insight Vacations, Brendan Vacations, Luxury Gold.

    Unfortunately, Contiki tours have an age restriction, requiring participants to be between 18 and 35 years old. We recommend considering our open-age sister brands, such as Trafalgar, Costsaver, Brendan Vacations, Insight Vacations, and Luxury Gold, as they offer itineraries that may be a better fit for you.

  I was hoping to book this tour in for the next couple of weeks but as it includes Jasper I wanted to ask if the tour is modified around the wild fires and would we move to another town instead or are the tours cancelled due to this?

    Jasper National Park has extended its closure until August 6, 2024. Some of our tour departures are impacted, including in Canada and the Rockies. As a workaround, all of the departed tours were rerouted. There is no update on whether the tour will be canceled due to the current situation in Jasper National Park, but rest assured, our team is closely monitoring the situation.

  Are we picked up and dropped off at the airport (YVR)? It says 6 nights in Hotels, 2 nights in ___ (is this the Chalet in Banff?), 2 nights in Special Stay (what is this?) Do we receive a list of hotels upon booking and are they 4 stars or ? Meals: 2 Dinner (D) - the first night and the dinner cruise in Vancouver?, 6 Breakfast (B) - what are our choices for breakfast on the other days? Will there be a refrigerator and microwave oven in our room? Is lunch easily accessible at each stop? What time is the normal departure? Can you let us know how many hours we will be on the bus each day? Is the guide narrating en route? When are the Optional Tours booked and do you have a list by stop and what's the cancellation policy? Lastly, what is the deposit requirement, when is the final payment due and what is your cancellation policy?

    Airport Transfers: Pickup and drop-off at the airport (YVR) are not included in the standard package. However, we can arrange private transfers upon request. Hotel Quality: The accommodations are typically 3 to 4-star hotels, providing comfort and quality. Meals: Breakfasts vary by hotel and typically include a range of options such as continental, buffet, or full breakfast. Rooms generally include basic amenities like a refrigerator. However, microwave ovens may not be available in all rooms. Travel Time: The daily travel time by motorcoach varies depending on the scheduled activities for each day. The Travel Director will provide narration and guidance throughout the trip. Optional experiences can only be booked while on the trip. Deposit: The deposit is US$200 and is non-refundable. Final Payment: The final payment for this trip is due 60 days before departure.

    Yes, if you choose the twin share option, you will be paired with another traveler of the same gender for the duration of the 11-day tour.

  Are you have availability for May of this year and if yes what date is it for one traveller? Would it be possible to have my own room? Can you please explain what "2 nights in, 2 nights in Special Stay" means? Are entrances to National Parks included?

    We have still 1 last departure date available for May which is 28 May to 07 June of 2023. Single Room is available for request, however this is not guaranteed as rooms are now subject for availability. 2 nights special stay is in Contiki's Tunnel Mountain Resort in Banff (multi-share only - max 4 people same room together and same gender only). Entrance to parks are included, however Free Time Add Ons or additional excursions are at an additional cost which are bookable only whilst on trip.

    You can leave/end the trip whenever and wherever you would like. However, there will be no rebate on missing nights. Price will stay the same.

    We do not have access to the exact number of people booked nor ages as we have booking regions all over the world. As it gets closer to your departure date you can login to 'My Contiki' where you will be able to chat with other travelers on your trip. This will give you a better idea of how many people are booked!

  What age range is this tour the most appropriate for? We are both 56 but are fit. We don't ski or snowboard but would be happy to canoe and raft down a river and possibly zip line. Can we whale watch as part of this trip or can you recommend a stop off for us after Vancouver?
