Only hiccup is very end of tour, the flight from Puerto Maldanaldo to Lima. Requested for the late afternoon flight before tour started, stated only can use monring flight. Ok, as was informed well ahead of time. Morning of flight, Local Tour Agent stating jwe are on a flight just after noon time fklight but boarding pass given to us from Hotal shows morning flight. Took the morning flight, if had known about noon time flight option, we would have chosen that flight optionj instead.Show more

This trip 19 days Wonderland of Peru was a full on itinerary with many very early 4am starts and a great deal of travelling in cars and buses... be prepared for very long days! The 2 night buses l went on especially the one from Cusco to Puerto Maldaldo weren't very nice and on both buses the doors leading to the toilets were stuck so l had to wait for hours for a strong passenger to wake up to open for me! I changed my itinerary before booking with Manu to suite my needs as l didn't feel physically fit enough at 61 to do the 4 day trek. Manu was very helpful in helping me change my itinerary but when l was actually on the tour some of the amendments hadn't been made with the office and l had to remind Manu of the changes ie 2 days in lake Titicata instead of one as on original tour. I also found that the itinerary on Touradour wasn't always what we did ie we stayed in Nasca instead of Ica which made the travelling day 3 of tour exhausting....3am to 8.30pm! Manu said it had been changed but l hadn't been informed. My last day was also different from the itinerary and instead of staying in Tampa national park for 2 nights l was taken back to Puerto Maldaldo for last night where there's nothing to do and l felt very disappointed as l'd arranged with Manu to go on a later flight so l could enjoy the wildlife at Tampa and was in a small city instead! There was also another time in Cusco when l wasn't picked up for a tour and had to contact Manu by phone to get him to sort out the problem.... I ended up having a very stressful afternoon trying to get on a half day city tour. To summarise Manu my guide for the first 8 days of my tour was good and looked after me and then when he left me in Cusco and l was put on separate tours and the problems started. I feel this tour still needs fine tuning and l wouldn't recommend to a solo traveller like me as there were many occasions when l was left to my own devices with nobody else booked on the same tour as me. I would recommend that anybody doing this tour to double check itinerary and look on the Conde site as l think this varies from the Touradour information.Show more

  We have a woman leaving on this route on March 20; the only difference would be that when she arrives in Cusco, she requested to do the Inca Trail instead of Salkantay or the Inca Jungle route, which you can easily follow to visit Machu Picchu.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with CondeTravel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 50 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and CondeTravel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
