  disappointed to arrive at a completely different hôtel than the one I was promised. and in a crowded city instead of out past the oyramids where it would have been quiet and dark for stargazing. I had to waste much time with very unstable wifi trying to alert my other personally booked tours to change my pick up hôtel address. the first tour included in my package with tour radar had a worthless guide who sent us to a very overpriced tourist trap cafe at panoramic station near the pyramids she also wasted our day at perfume and papyrus shops. after a quick superficial look at the new Egyptian museum she sat at yet another cafe while we had a free-time visit of the exhibits. Afterwards instead of dropping me off at my hotel, we were driven to the train station as the other guy on our tour was going on to Luxor but not till evening and asked to not be dropped iff so early thereto be stranded with all his suitcases. Clearly the guide and driver preferred to rid themselves of us in the most efficient order…. The day trip to Alexandria was completely different! Wonderful informative guide, safe driver full day visit. excellent lunch. No tourist traps and accommodated my request to visit the new library of Alexandria which houses 3 contemporary exhibitions as well. (cinema painting and political.). A must to see!Show more

Regarding the hotel change, as mentioned in both the itinerary and booking terms, accommodation is always subject to availability. In your case, we provided a 5-star branded hotel located in Cairo city center, and this change was communicated to you prior to your arrival when we sent the final confirmation. While we understand your preference for a quieter location near the pyramids for stargazing, the confirmed hotel category and standard were fully respected. Concerning the first Cairo tour, please note that this was a small group tour booked through TourRadar, and we limited the group to only two participants (yourself and one other traveler) to avoid crowds and offer better service. The guide assigned has consistently received excellent ratings (5/5) from other travelers, including the fellow participant who joined you, who described the guide as informative, fluent in English, and helpful. That said, we take your comments seriously and will review your feedback internally with the guiding team. Regarding the stop at the train station, we would like to clarify that this stop took approximately one minute and was directly on the route to your hotel. No detour was made, and it did not result in additional travel time for you. We are, however, very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the Alexandria day tour, including the guide, driver, lunch, and the visit to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and its contemporary exhibitions. Your positive remarks have already been shared with the Alexandria team. Once again, thank you for your honest feedback.   My kids and me had a most wonderful time in Egypt organized by Egypt Tours Club. We had a few amazing tour guides Mustafa, Marwa and Ismail - they were all very knowledgeable and explained Egyptian history, culture, and religion in a simple easy to understand way for my 8, 10, and 17 year old kids. Ismail went above in beyond and saved us from missing our train stop in Luxor- a very memorable experience. Mustafa led all our Cairo tours and was super knowledgeable and showed us a little more of the real Egypt. Marwa showed us around Alexandria, tweaked our tour to see an old Roman amphitheater vs a red column - many tanks! The tour company was spot on, no issues or delays with pickups, and was very flexible with us customizing our tour to fit and maximize our time in Egypt. Do not be shy about contacting to discuss adding an extra day or turning the tour to a private tour. We felt very safe in Egypt, we didn't go down the beaten path too much, however everyone was very welcoming and looked out to us. Egypt is a bargaining culture, expect to pay more as a foreigner, it is an adjustment not knowing the price of a coke when you walk up to a corner store - but really - it adds to the fun. The bathrooms do cost a little (US quarter in most cases), but you get a clean and safe experience - most of the bathrooms were cleaner than gas stations in the states.Show more

I would reccomened anyone who is considering visiting Egypt to do it with a tour company, we loved that we had a private experience and the tour guide always accommodated to our needs, including having extra time at each site.Show more

  It is an excellent tour for everyone, not just those with a few days! Days 1 and 5 are arrival and departure; so, effectively three days. But in that time, you sample the Cairo area, the southern charm of Luxor and Alexandria in the north. You fly, experience a train journey, sample local cuisine, visit museums, ... Moreover, I felt completely safe, every step of the way. If you are a history person, or a keen Egyptologist, you will have more than enough. Cairo museum covers the pre-pharaonic period to the modern era. But best part of it was the guide (I was solo - so personalized!) Jimmy and the drivers. So knowledgeable and friendly! Abdul too in Luxor. The hotel in Luxor was right on the Nile, excellent. Boat rides are available. If you are thinking about this tour, please go fo it. It was excellent! Thank you for an amazing experience! On Day 5 though, there was a bit of a mix-up, and my driver showed up late (maybe traffic?) So I got an Uber to the airport, by private arrangement. These things happen, and can happen anywhere. But it did not, in any way, take away from the great tour that I had. Another thing to remember (just so you know! 😀): After you take it, you are likely to find yourself planning for a follow-up tour, or add on: Sharm el Sheikh, Aswan, Abu Simbel etc.Show more

Both tour guides (Mohamed Gamal, Cairo and Sayed Ibrahim, Luxor) were well informed and knowledgeable. My accommodations in Luxor were beautiful!   What an amazing tour! My wife and I had debated about booking our own itinerary or booking a tour. We are so glad we booked this tour. Everything was arranged for us seamlessly from train tickets, plane tickets, accommodations, and car transportation. It was so nice to know that whenever it was time to go to our next destination, someone was waiting for us to take us there. We never found ourselves waiting. Also, the guides took care of the tickets at each attraction we visited so we could relax while they handled that portion. We found the entire quality of the tour to be very good. We decided to upgrade from 3-star accommodations to 5-star accommodations and are very glad we did so. Based on accommodations we have seen in other countries, the star ratings in Egypt seem to be 1-2 stars higher than you would see them rated elsewhere. While our hotel really was rated as a 5-star hotel, we felt it was closer to a high-end 3-star or low-end 4-star that we would find in the USA. The cost to upgrade our accommodations was well worth it to us. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who is thinking about it.Show more

  Me and my friends booked the Egypt short break tour package for 5 Days with Egypt Tours Club and it was so amazing that we want to go back and book With the same company and have the same guides. Our Tour included Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor and we wanted to not worry about anything and it was just the best decision because everything was included to include meals, transportation, accommodations, entrance to the attractions and because of that we were just able to enjoy our vacation instead of planning for the big or minor details, everything was taken cared for. The guide from Cairo And Alexandria is Youssa and he is very passionate, knowledgeable and enjoys his job. He made sure we were well taken cared for from the day that we arrived until the day we left. The tours were not rushed and if we needed anything he was always more than happy to accommodate us. The Hotels were great as well, clean and safe! Our guide in Cairo even had a WiFi Hotspot for use so we stay communicated which is important and made us feel even safer :). We added extra tours like camel riding, the bazaar and hot air balloon! It was just an amazing experience and when we went to Luxor for part of our initial itinerary our guide Omar didn’t disappoint, he was knowledgeable and loves his job as well. Overall we had an amazing expedience and have been recommending the company and the tours to family and friends. The Company was well represented by the tour guides and our experience is unmatched.
