- EMEmilie· November 11th, 2024I have been quite disappointed by the organization of this tour. First of all, I received the PDF of the tour after asking several times. My friend never received it. My friend asked for airport transfer and she never got an answer. In addition to the high price we pay for the tour, they asked her 50 euros to go back to the airport. I asked information about the hotel on Saturday regarding the luggage room. The check in was on Sunday and I got the answer on Monday, that’s really late because I already got my answer. I think we should receive a better customer service. Secondly, I did not expect all hotels to be so far away from the city center. They are nothing to do/to see around where we were. Regarding the organization of the tour, I did not understand why the first day in Rome, we leave Rome at 1:45 pm, to go back to the hotel at 2:30pm. There are so much things to see in Rome. And if you want to see the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, you have to pay for an excursion (extra activity). So, you can stay in Rome by your own and not coming back with the group, but you have to go back by your own. The situation was similar in Florence, the group is leaving the city at 3:30pm to go back at the hotel. There was nothing to do around the hotel. So, you can also decide to stay, but you have to come back by your own. Also, the tour should give us way more info in advance (3-6 months in advance) such as the timetable of the day, so we can book on our freetime, museum, visit of Pisa tower, etc. During this tour, we did not even know what was the plan for tomorrow, so, there is no way to buy a ticket for something at a special time. This tour might be good if you do no expect anything but if you would like to see something in particular or plan accordingly, I do not recommend it.Show moreTrip date: October 2024

It would also be good to include an entry to the colosseum and Palatine Hill in Rome. However, the program was great and we got to see a lot in a short period of time. This tour will take you on an outside visit to the colosseum, concluding at 2pm and heads back to the hotel. If you wish to go inside, you would need to purchase tickets independently and find your own way back to the hotel. There is an optional excursion on this day that includes dinner. If you wanted to do this as well, you would need to ensure you are back at the hotel by 4pm.
