The planned hotel in Rome is the St. Martin, located in a very central area. Please note that Rome is generally not a very cold city, so you can expect pleasant weather

My brother is from India, my sister is from the US, and myself from Australia. While my sister and I need an ETIAS. My brother will require a Schengen visa. My question is, if we decide on this tour, will you be able to get the visa for him, or will he have to do it himself in India?

If we intend to stay a couple of days in Rome after the tour is over, can we extend our accommodation in the same hotel? You will also drop us off at the airport.

If the guests proceed with booking the September 20–27 departure, would it be possible to arrange a 2-night pre-stay at the same hotel? They will be arriving from their cruise on September 18 and would like to stay at the same hotel before joining the tour/group on September 20.

The tour is a good way to travel to many iconic locations in Italy. I was especially glad that we had some time in Bolonga, and also appreciated having a full day in Florence. For the most part, we were brought to the main square or other important location of each place we visited and given a brief introduction. We then had time to explore on our own. That suited us because we had researched the itinerary in advance and, for attractions that sold out well in advance, purchased tickets. It wouldn't work as well for those dependent on the tour itself for all information and guidance. Stephano, our tour guide, did a good job of orienting us to the different sites and making sure we knew when and where to meet. Our driver, Remy, was also excellent. The group was 44 people, which was okay much of the time but rather large when we were walking in busy cities. Other tours I've been on have had a get-acquainted meal to start; the absence of that meant that we only got to know relatively few of our group members. Two of the three hotels where we stayed were good, but the one in Florence was noisy and had food that seemed a cut below the others.Show more

I recently did the Taste of Italy 8 day tour. Sabrina our tour guide was fabulous. She was friendly, knowledgeable & patient, especially with such a large group. Edmundo our driver did a great job as well. I enjoyed the itinerary and the towns we visited. The hotels we stayed in were a good choice. The extra lunches and dinners we did were good to do as a group, especially as I was travelling solo. I liked that we stayed in each place for two nights so we weren't constantly on the move. The only negative comment I have is, I felt that 60 people was too many.Show more

  Vatican tickets: Yes, the Vatican Museums tickets are included in the tour when the visit is part of the itinerary.
  
  Tuscany: The program includes a lunch in Tuscany; however, it is not specifically a wine tasting experience.
  
  Transportation: Yes, the tour is operated by comfortable coach (bus) throughout the itinerary.
  
  Hop-on Hop-off: You will receive the voucher together with the welcome letter on the first day, including all the instructions on how to use the service.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Carrani Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Carrani Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Carrani Tours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
