I'm interested in a tour around the time they have the Carnival in Bahia Feb 12 to 18th

During the Bahia's Carnival time, the city reaches its maximum hotel capacity, with almost 100% occupancy. - Hotels apply special and significantly higher rates. - Hotels require prepayment to confirm, and deposits are non-refundable. - We already have many groups booked for those dates. Transfers and excursions also must be offered in private service - Some places will not be available to visit (Bonfim Church, Barra District, and Church of São Francisco). - The Bahian folkloric show will not be performed during this period. - The revised price per person in double room is U$D 2,675

Are the tour guides Brazilian?

Definitely yes. The local tour guides are Brazilian; they speak english, spanish, portuguese, etc.

Will there be a guide for the whole tour and does this tour go to the beach in Salvator?

This is not a group tour which dates are set and having a guide throughout the duration of the trip as well as a group of travel companions. Our program include flexibility with dates (you can choose your own dates), the itinerary is set, all services are in shared services with local English speaking guides. You could have different travel companions each day. The advantage of this type of travel is increased independence and flexibility throughout your journey. You have free time, so you can take advantage of the beaches and discover some places on your own and according to your interests.

Can you arrange transportation to and from Bahia from Rio?

I loved Salvadore. I loved the market; shopping areas and the show was amazing! The hotel was in the center of everything. Bruno was very informative. I had a good time but feel like there was a lot of free time. I learned that beaches are a big deal here. A lot of free time was spent there and i got really burned. Lol. Next time bring the sunscreen and warn about that. Thanks guys. Great job connecting me with this company.Show more
