For most activities, transfers between cities are by private car/van or express train. Shorter distances often involve walking, but tuk-tuks or cars can be hired locally. Some challenging walks include Mount Phousi with over 300 steps, and a 1.5 km jungle trek to Namkat waterfall. We recommend discussing alternative options with your wife, like using a tuk-tuk or having her rest while you complete more strenuous activities.
