- Mary· July 21st, 2025We were expecting to be picked up at our hotel for Verona tomorrow at 10am. We now have to be at the visitors information centre, 38 minutes walk from our hotel at 6.45. Breakfast, which does not commence until 7am, was included with our tour, we will have to now leave before 6am. I am hoping you will provide at least some compensation, or a pick up from our hotel as advertised. Regards Mary Wallace. This was the email I sent to the company who did the Verona tour. Though location of hotels in Florence and Venice was perfect but both were not better than a 2 stars rating. In Rome, what was reserved was not a hotel but a AirBnB kind of property and location was far from tour meetings and that needs to be considered. The best part of the tour was the trip to Pisa, Sienna and San Gimignano from Florence and above all the availability of our PoC at all time was a big plus.Show more

Around 10 people, please note that not all tours will be with the same people. Tourist Class is our standard 3 star category, and Boutique is 4 stars. If they are 2 people, but they want to sleep in different rooms (single rooms) they need to add 2 Single Supplements / Rooms.

In both days, there will be around 10-15 people in the walking tours, and 25 in the tours with busses. If you book together, you and your friend will be in the same hotel, now you are selecting one room, but you can select two singles and you will have different rooms in the same accommodation. Yes, Tourist Class is different that Boutique (upgraded hotel).

Every day you will meet the guide at a centralized meeting point, where you will join different travelers each day of the tours. There is no pick up and drop off from the hotels. Best to check with the hotel in Lecce, maybe is walking distance from the hotel, they can help you arrange a taxi if needed. The meeting points are centralized, some of them are walking distance and some by taxi. For the train, we do not have an escort as the travellers join a different group and guide every day.
