  This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me and a perfect combination of relaxation, adventure, cultural/food exploration, meeting people, and self-growth. The sailboat has everything your need and offers a lot more than I expected (and its in very clean and good shape). What I experienced through this trip was definitely not something I could have achieved simply by flying in or taking the ferry. I love that every day we are on a different island, and each of them is so different, with a good mix of some more developed islands and less touched ones. Every day when you wake up, you are ready to go and sail out. Each day is a new day, new destination, and new adventure! There is no unpacking, no waiting for bus/taxi/ferry/flight. We woke up, and we are going! Part of the sailing was rough and we were all hands on deck (literally) as a team. It felt great to be learning & helping out with sailing! Show more

  I had a fantastic time on my first ever G Adventure trip! Looking forward to booking the next one! The sailing was an incredible experience and the best way to see Greece in my opinion. Had so much fun and have never laughed so much in my life. I also met some phenomenal people who have now become travel friends. 10/10 trip overall, and an unforgettable experience!   Great guide. Unfortunately, we were late leaving the first day due to waiting for paperwork. We didn’t leave until 130pm.Surely this tour happens every week and this should not happen. Therefore we did not sail for our intended destination and end up going from Santorini to Thirassia. After that we motored to Naxos and then motored to Mykonos the following day, as the wind had picked up and was against us. We stayed on Mykonos for the rest of the trip. Now I understand that we needed to get to Mykonos and that the wind was unseasonably strong. However our skipper told us that the prevailing wind is North to South and therefore we would not have been doing much sailing anyway and would have mostly be using the motor. This was not mentioned in the bronchure. And quite simply should have been. We would have picked the North to South trip if we had known. Very poor G adventures!! We needed up Leaving the boat in Mykonos early as did most of the others as there was no point sitting on a boat going nowhere.Show more

  Thanks for the review Ameet, and our apologies things didn't go as smoothly as we all would have liked here. We will look into what we can do to better manage expectations here, although, keeping in mind that weather can be unpredictable. I can see that we arranged a group dinner whilst on Mykonos and that we offered to arrange day trips to go to Delos or Tinos so the group could still make the most of their time here.
