Do i need the 60day THAI visa for this, or is the VOA enough?

if i depart on the 5th, can i stay at the same hotel we're booked at 1st day in Bangkok?

will I have a single hotel room or how are the accommodations arranged? And will there be additional costs if I travel alone?

Our 18-Thirtysomethings tours are designed for travellers aged 18-39 years old wishing to form interpersonal connections with travellers around their age, while visiting a new destination. Travellers must be 39 years old or younger as of Day 1 of the departure date of the tour.

what month would be best for this tour? are the countrys and regions this tour visits safe to walk around and shop solo? can the tour be modified and is it avaliable as a private tour? is there a visa required for a usa citizition

The weather and best times can vary over the four countries you will be visiting but in general, the cool, dry season lasts from November to April across mainland Southeast Asia making this a good time to visit Thailand, Vietnam or Indochina, while Indonesia and Borneo are drier from April to October, and Malaysia offers year-round sun on one coast or the other. This is a small group tour and we cannot modify it to be a private departure. As the same with all travel a degree of caution needs to be taken when you are travelling solo and exploring the cities however there is normally a group of single travellers tours who will choose to explore the city in free time together or you guide will be there to assist you for the duration of the tour.

You are not visiting any areas where these animals reside. If you would like to see orangutans, we recommend looking at our tours to Borneo, and for the Komodo dragons, we currently do not have any tours that include Komodo National Park.

All flights during this tour are included in the cost of your tour unless otherwise noted. It is important that we have your passport information at the time of booking in order to process these tickets. Flight tickets are issued locally and will be given to you prior to the flight departure.

I loved travelling with the group members from all over the world and having two different ambitious guides, who made the whole trip a lot of fun, was good as well. We had delicious food and we could also experience homestays in different countries. I loved to see how the native people lived and I loved their homemade food. The trekking to Mt. Bromo and walking up to the volcano was one of the best experiences of the whole trip! The surfing lesson in Red Island and the "Suka Suka Homestay" at Chenderoh Lake were amazing as well.Show more

The trip itself was nice. However, I found it too expensive for what was included. And our tour guide definitely...
The trip itself was nice. However, I found it too expensive for what was included. And our tour guide definitely needed a break. She was just not very suited for a young group (anymore?). Cons: Some very long bus rides for only a few hours at a place. This would be fine if the main attractions or places would have been opted for already and we would have had the information in advance. But instead she posted very minor information on Facebook (you have no constant WiFi in the bus) and was not always happy to explain things personally. So basically the same as Paula's review. The main suggestions from the tourguide were often; shopping malls, massage, food and WiFi. That is not why I would fly all way up to Thailand/ Indonesia. Pros: So did enjoy the trip: yes! Basically you have to make the most of it and reserve ~$1000,- for additional drinks, food and activities. Some of the places are really enjoyable. My favorites were the places were; Krabi (go kayaking!), Yogjakarta (go rafting!), Surf camp. Here the accommodations were good and there was enough time to plan some cultural and physical activities.Show more

  since the tour is almost a month and we're gonna be constantly traveling, what do i do with my suitcase? am i leaving it in the hotel? ill probably bring my laptop too for work so itll have to be in a safe place.

  You'll be moving around quite a bit on this trip, so we recommend packing as lightly as possible (ideally under 10 kg / 22 lb). You'll be responsible for carrying your own luggage, and while distances aren't usually far, it's much easier with a lighter load. Most travellers opt for a backpack, though an overnight bag with a shoulder strap can also work. Suitcases aren't recommended, as you'll often be getting on and off busy local transport where backpacks are far more practical. We also suggest bringing a small daypack for essentials like water, a camera, and sunscreen during day trips.
  
  For internal flights, there is a luggage allowance of 20 kg for checked baggage and 7 kg for carry-on. Any excess will need to be paid directly at the airport.
  
  If you'd like to store extra luggage at a hotel, you're welcome to arrange this independently. Just keep in mind that you'll need to collect it yourself afterwards, as the tour does not return to the same hotels.

- Rabies - Recommended for Indonesia. Ideally 1 month before travel.
- Yellow fever - Certificate of vaccination required if arriving from an area with a risk of yellow fever transmission for Indonesia.Malaysia.Singapore.Thailand. Ideally 10 days before travel.
- Japanese B encephalitis - Recommended for Indonesia.Malaysia.Singapore.Thailand. Ideally 1 month before travel.
Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 30th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 30th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "G Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of G Adventures. Please familiarize yourself with the G Adventures payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
