  Can you share any photos or further information on the ship used for this cruise? Additionally, are you able to offer this tour as a private tour for a travel group?

    Only one boat operates this Long Nile Cruise from Cairo to Luxor (12 days) or to Aswan (15 days), which is the Movenpick M/S Darakum. Unfortunately, private tour options aren't possible since the boat can't be chartered exclusively. Our tour prices are based on standard cabins, priced per person sharing, 2 per room. The single room supplement applies when single cabins are required.

All transfers, including 24-hour airport transfer service in Cairo and Aswan. Tours & guides as indicated on the itinerary with a shared Nile Cruise guide (up to a maximum of 10 people per vehicle with the guide). All transport required for sightseeing along the way. All site entrance fees.

    Can you give a price for the cruise as you offer it. That is Cairo to Aswan. You have suggested 7th to the 21st October 2023. I think there are other cruises and would like to know their dates.

    There is currently only one boat that offers the 15-day Long Nile Cruise from Cairo to Aswan, which is the MS Darakum. Sailing dates are annually from February to May and September to November.
    
    The maximum number of travellers per cabin is 2. Your son would need to pay the single room supplement to occupy a cabin alone.

    The Classic Egypt group tour is based on 5-star hotels in Cairo and a 5-star Cruise boat that sails from Luxor to Aswan to Luxor.

    On the Classic Egypt group tour, we use a 5-star cruise boat for the 7 nights, and 5-star hotels in Cairo. On our group tours we don't guarantee specific hotels though. We would know the exact hotels about 3 weeks prior to each group departure date.
    
    Examples of boats would be Steigenberger Legacy/Regency or Nile Premium. Examples of the hotels would be Sheraton Cairo, Crowne Plaza Arkan, Steigenberger Pyramids.

    Due to very limited available boats that sail this route, we don't currently offer this as a group tour but rather on a case-by-case basis.
    
    The maximum number of travellers per cabin is 2. The third person would need to pay the single room supplement to occupy a cabin alone.
    
    We'd also like to suggest our 12-day Classic Egypt trip that includes 7 nights on a Nile Cruise boat from Luxor to Aswan to Luxor. We can still only occupy 2 people per cabin, however, since this trip is cheaper than the Long Nile Cruise, the single room supplement is also lower.

    The Long Nile Cruise schedules for 2023 haven't been released yet. We will be offering this cruise which starts in Cairo and ends in Aswan again next year, and will be in touch the moment the sailing dates and prices are available.

  We are 2 senior adults. Want to celebrate our 50th anniversary with a wonderful trip to Egypt. Looking at Sept 2023. 14 to 15 days. 5 star places to stay. For example, we'd like the Ritz Carlton in Cairo. Want to see everything while there. No rest days. That way we can see it all. Want camel rides and quad tour in the dessert.

    If you'd like to see as much of Egypt as possible in one stay, the Long Nile Cruise tour is definitely an option. You would need at least 17 days (18 if you count in flying days) to travel as part of the Long NIle Cruise though.
    
    This tour starts in Cairo, so you'd need to spend at least 1 night in Cairo, which could be in the Ritz Cartlon, then the 15-day itinerary, and at least 1 night in Aswan to connect to your international flight via Cairo. Or, you can return from Aswan to Cairo for 1 final night.
    
    The itinerary would look as follows:
    
    Arrive in Cairo and overnight at Ritz Carton
    DAY 1: Cairo free morning, transfer to cruise boat
    DAY 2: Pyramids, Sphinx & Egyptian Museum tours
    DAY 3: Start sailing to Beni Suef
    DAY 4: Sightseeing in Fayoum region
    DAY 5: Sail south towards Minya
    DAY 6: Tour of Tel el Amarna & Beni Hassan
    DAY 7: Sail towards Asyut
    DAY 8: Sail to Sohag, visit Abydos
    DAY 9: Sail to Qena
    DAY 10: Tour of Dendera, sail to Luxor
    DAY 11: Luxor, West Bank tours
    DAY 12: Luxor, East Bank tour, sail to Edfu
    DAY 13: Edfu & Komombo temple, sail to Aswan
    DAY 14: Sightseeing in Aswan
    DAY 15: Tour ends in Aswan OR we can assist with a flight back to Cairo, one last night in Cairo

    Unfortunately, the Long Nile Cruise tour isn't available privately. We can, however, offer two of our other shorter tours that include Nile Cruises privately. These are:
    
    Classic Egypt - 12 days
    Egyptian Legacy - 8 days
    
    The tour needs to start on a Saturday to fit in with the cruise boat schedules, so either the 6th, 13th, 20th, or 27th August 2022.
