We do have this tour offered for December 22, 2025 departure but regrettably, the seats have already reached Maximum Capacity, which is why the tour is no longer offered for 2025 and bookings are now open for the December 2026 Departure.

I want a tour for 1 person start in London and end in London but go to Scotland and wales around 7 days but new year in London

We do not offer customized tours at this point. However, do have a tour called Best of UK & Ireland which you can search in the Tour Radar website.

Is there an option for 1 triple room and one double room? We are a family of 5.

We do not offer triple rooms. Many hotel partners do not offer triple rooms, and they are not guaranteed to be available in all destinations. For an uneven number of travelers, please indicate which travelers of the same gender will be sharing a room. Minors under 18 cannot share with travelers outside their booking group. Optional single supplement/private room upgrade is available subject to availability.

Would this be possible to leave the tour on the 27th and have our own travel back to London? Are there any other tours that would allow us to see Bath and Stonehenge?

Yes, you can choose to leave the tour on the 27th (Day 12) but we cannot offer any assistance regarding transportation back to London and you will have to arrange that from your end. Our Other Tour that offers Stonehenge as an Optional is called the Best of UK & Ireland Tour, but it is a longer tour and covers UK and Ireland. However, our Great Britain Tour is the only one that offers the Roman Baths in Bath as an Optional.

Are international flights included in the tour price?

Whilst internal flights are covered for certain itineraries, you will have to make your way to the meeting point for the start of your tour. When booking flights be mindful of departure times and possible delays. Tip: We suggest that you start comparing prices the moment your deposit is paid to avoid costly flights.

Are young children allowed?

We have a set minimum age of 10 for our tours, but we're happy to consider younger children on a case-by-case basis. Just let us know your request, and we'll do our best to accommodate it. Expat Explore reserves the right to accept or decline the request at our discretion. We want to ensure everyone has a great time exploring with us!

Can you cater for my dietary requirements?

We make every effort to include local cuisine on our tours to ensure an authentic experience for you. You'll receive an email before the tour begins, where we'll ask for your dietary preferences. We always have a vegetarian option, and we'll work hard to accommodate any other dietary needs or preferences you may have.

Do I need to exchange cash before I leave?

Contactless payment is widely accepted across Europe – it’s best to bring a payment card with no overseas withdrawal fees. * Keep in mind that certain optionals are payable in cash to your tour leader whilst on tour. We suggest that you talk to your Tour Leader about when & where to draw cash to pay for the optional excursions.

If I wish to stay longer in the start or end destination, will Expat Explore assist with pre/post-tour accommodation?

While Expat Explore cannot assist with booking pre or post-tour accommodation, we recommend Booking.com for affordable accommodation options prior to and after the tour. If hotel information is available, we can provide you with the details in advance so that you can book accommodation at or nearby the start hotel. Please request this by sending a message through on the conversation page.

Can Expat Explore issue me with a visa?

While Expat Explore endeavours to stay current on all major entry requirements, we are not a registered visa agent. We are, however, able to make things a little easier by providing you with the required supporting documents for a visa application once your tour is paid in full. It is a requirement of the embassies that tours are paid for in full before visa support documentation is requested and applications are made. When you have made the final payment for your booking, simply reach out to our Customer Support Team to request your visa support documents and confirm which embassy you will be applying to.

Every aspect of the tour was as I would have hoped. Mike was knowledgeable and able to inspire me to ask questions. Everything, except what was out of his control, ran smoothly. I liked the flexibility of the tour, It was disappointing not to see Cardiff or Liverpool in Daylight, and I would have preferred to visit The Beatles Story to looking at the gates of a football ground. My biggest whinge is that there were way too many insolent little Asian kids on the tour. Many of them would block the aisle or were rude out on tour.Show more

Overall the tour was excellent and provided a good, albeit brief, overview of Great Britain. Some of the highlights were punting down the river in Cambridge, stopping in beautiful Inverness, listening to a Beatles tribute band in the famous Cavern Club, and walking through the beautiful streets of Bath. Our tour leader, Kaeleigh, was informative and upbeat and provided necessary information in each city. Although it also seemed as though she was left to handle a lot of mishaps that were mostly caused by misbookings by the main office. In our stop in the Highlands, four of us had to stay in a hotel over a half hour away from the rest of the group due to an overbooking. We also arrived in many cities to have most of the sights closed - understandably as it was the Christmas period but it would have been nice if this had been clearly stated on the itinerary when booking. It was a great tour with a friendly group and helpful guide and driver, but it doesn't seem like the company really has their act together. Some better pre-planning would have made our trip spot on.Show more

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
