- PMPaul· August 11th, 2024Great trip ,covers a lot of places in a short time . Being in our late 60's ,it was a bit hectic. Being extremely hot as well didn't help . Accommodation was good . - LMLynne· May 21st, 2024I this insane that the tour guide has to waste hours trying to get in touch with other guides to obtain ticket for such optionals like the Vatican. You should should just make these options available in advance for travelers. This would prevent tourist and the guide carry large sums of cash and would show more planningShow moreTrip date: May 2024
- VLVisura Senal· April 12th, 2024It was an amazing 11 days jam packed with alot of things to see and do! Our guide was the most amazing guide I've ever met! Peter (guide) and the driver Silvian made this trip the most memorable! His attention to detail and knowledge of everywhere we went was off the charts! Peter also cares alot about his passengers and make sure all passengers needs are met! Peter makes this trip 10/10. Explat explore I nominate Peter once again for the best guide in 2024. Only downside of the trip is that the hotels that were booked are abit too far from the major cities we went to, sometimes over 30 mins travel by train etc. This made it harder for us to explore more during the night. Thanks Peter and Silvian for a great trip!Show moreExpat Explore Travel commented on this reviewThank you for your fantastic review! - Gayle· May 11th, 2023The tour is worth the money. Was full of experiences, good restaurants, hotels some ok, some had issues. No washrags, so take your own, Hotel in Toulouse did not have a phone in the room and we had an emergency, no hairdryer in some, no A/C at Hotel in Toulouse and Barcelona. We only made it to Barcelona, as my 81 yr old travel companion fell on Day 1 in Paris & was unconscious a few seconds, tour leader talked her out of medical care. She fell again at the hotel, then in Toulouse, she had a serious unconscious fall in the bathroom. No phone in the room for me to call for help. Tour leader gave me some grief, he again talked her out of medical care, I was angry, she was confused and had difficulty walking. Our next major stop was Barcelona, I talked her into medical help, where she was then hospitalized a couple days. We received no help, assistance or call from Expat. The tour leader was knowledgeable about his job, but wreckless with human life. I had to arrange hotel extension and return air home. Would have been nice if Expat at least called.Show moreTrip date: April 2023

Traveler•Written February 2025Another question is how can I organise a transfer from the hotel to Rome train station after the finish of the tour?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written February 2025
We recommend checking with your hotel to see if they provide shuttle services to and from the hotel. If a shuttle service is not available, we've partnered with a trusted provider, Welcome Pickups, to make airport and hotel transfers simple and convenient.

Asked on December 29th, 2024Which hotel in Amsterdam will we meet for the Amsterdam to Rome tour on August 26th? Which hotel do you recommend we stay at when we arrive to Amsterdam on August 22nd?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written December 2024
At this stage, your departure is too far in advance for us to give you a confirmed starting hotel. Due to the fact that our hotels are subject to change, we do not provide inaccurate information beforehand to minimize any confusion that may be caused. We therefore suggest reaching out roughly 90 days prior for this information.
