  2. Day 02 - Pre-Biking Meeting and Drive to Besisahar (760 m)
  3. Day 03 - Ride from Besisahar to Tal (1,700 m). Distance: 37.4 km
  4. Day 04 - Ride from Tal to Chame (2,670 m). Distance: 22.6 km
  5. Day 05 - Drive from Chame to Manang (3,540 m). Distance: 29.7 km
  6. Day 06 - Acclimatization in Manang
  7. Day 07 - Ride from Manang to Thorong Phedi (4,450 m). Distance: 19 km
  8. Day 08 - Ride from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,760 m) via Thorong La Pass (5,416 m). Distance: 22 km
  9. Day 09 - Ride from Muktinath to Tukuche (2,590 m) via Lupra Valley. Distance: 32 km
  10. Day 10 - Ride from Tukuche to Tatopani (1,190 m). Distance: 42 km
  11. Day 11 - Ride from Tatopani to Beni (899 m). Distance: 25 km. And Jeep Ride to Pokhara (830 m).

    I was 70 when I took a tour with ACE, who promised that a moderate fitness level would suffice. Our group was looked after very well and made the adventure an experience of a life time! Tough, yes - but exhilarating!

    • What immunizations will I need?

      No vaccinations are compulsory for traveling in Nepal, but we do recommend you are covered for diphtheria & TB, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, *malaria, typhoid, polio and tetanus.

      We also recommend:

      · A dental check-up prior to travelling.
      · That you know your blood group in case of emergency.

      If you have any pre-existing medical conditions which might affect you on tour, you make these known to your tour leader and Ace the Himalaya at the time of your booking.

    • Can I add extra days to my trip?

      A holiday should never be about making it to the final point quickly. Along your trek we can add days at your request with additional costs to cover guides, porters, accommodation and food.

    • What essential documents do I need to bring with me on tours?

      Here are some documents that you will need to carry with you:

      · Valid Passport – must be valid for up to 6 months after you return from your tour, keep a separate photocopy.
      · Travel insurance, keep a separate photocopy< · Cash and Traveller’s Cheques, keep numbers and proof of purchase separately
      · Flight tickets
      · Emergency contact numbers for T/C’s, banks, insurance, family contacts.

    • Are the Ace the Himalaya's staff insured?

      Our company insures all our staff members, including guides, cooks, Sherpas and porters. Please browse though Company Information pages to view insurance details.

    • Is the water fine to drink? Do I need to bring purifying tablets/filter?

      In most places bottled water is readily available. If you wish to drink normal water, you need to use purifying aid, which you need to bring with you.

    • Payment information
      • For any tour departing before 23 February 2020 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after 23 February 2020, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Ace the Himalaya. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
      • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Ace the Himalaya will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
      • The following cards are accepted for Ace the Himalaya tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
