I've camped before but not set up my own tent before. Wondering about the complexity and if I have to set up my own each night

This trip is basic camping and consists of portable, easy to erect, dome tents. We provide comfortable swags (canvas bedroll including 2 inch mattresses). You can either bring your own sleeping bag or purchase one from us. Pillows are not provided so you can bring your own if you wish. This trip is specifically designed to embrace the outback and provide an authentic camping experience. It is for this reason, that we do not offer upgrades on this trip. Seven out of the nine nights have basic toilet and shower facilities, however on nights 5 and 6 we stay in the remote Purnululu National Park where only basic long-drop toilet facilities are available. Shower facilities are not available on these nights. Night 1: Imintji Campground – Pop-up tents and swags. Basic toilet and shower facilities. Night 2: Mount Barnett – Pop-up tents and swags. Basic toilet and shower facilities. Night 3: Mount Barnett – Pop-up tents and swags. Basic toilet and shower facilities. Night 4: Kununarra – Pop-up tents and swags. Composting toilet, basic 'bush style' showers. Night 5: Bungle Bungles – Pop-up tents and swags. Drop-Toilet, no shower facilities. Night 6: Bungle Bungles – Pop-up tents and swags. Drop-Toilet, no shower facilities. Night 7: Kununarra – Pop-up tents and swags. Composting toilet, basic 'bush style' showers. Night 8: Kununarra – Pop-up tents and swags. Composting toilet, basic 'bush style' showers. Night 9: Katherine – Pop-up tents and swags. Basic toilet and shower facilities. Many passengers have not normally set up their own camping equipment, so the guide will be there run through how to do it and also assist.

Emma gorge walk does require some scrambling over rocks but first half is relatively easy and you can relax by a rockpool half way in. Of course if choosing not to walk, you can wait for the group at a local cafe near by.

We do get senior people on our tours so that is not a problem at all but as you are over the age of 75, we would need to you to sign a quick medical form we will provide. We want to make sure you understand that there will be uneven terrain, you will be walking in water, on rocks and that it will be hot during the day. Please also keep in mind that this is a camping tour. If you are aware of this and would still like to take part of the tour, then we cannot wait to have you on board!
