  I cannot recommend GIVE Volunteers enough. After completing 6 of their 11 volunteer travel programs, I can confidently say that these experiences have changed my life in so many ways. GIVE has given me opportunities, experiences, and memories that I truly don't think I would have found anywhere else. GIVE's mission is to teach people the most authentic and ethical way to travel. They don't just bring you to a destination—they teach you how to travel with respect, humility, and a genuine appreciation for the local communities and cultures you visit. You leave each trip with not only unforgettable memories but also a deeper understanding of the places and people you've been fortunate enough to meet. The local and international guides are one of the biggest reasons these trips are so incredible. Every guide I've met has been incredibly genuine, welcoming, attentive, inspiring, and so much fun to be around. They create an environment where everyone feels included, cared for, and excited to learn. Their passion for sharing their home and culture is contagious, and they bring some of the most positive energy I've ever experienced. They truly make every adventure unforgettable. From the moment you arrive until it's time to say goodbye, they make you feel supported, encouraged, and like part of a family. Thank you Kasha, BigHead + MC, Chee, I'Good + I'Maiy, Chelsey, P'Tony + P'Boka, P'Nice, and last but not least P'Dee + P'Ann + P'PonPon! Also, GIVE headquarter team! From the very beginning, they are there to answer every question, handle concerns, and handle all of the travel logistics with care and urgency. If you've never traveled alone but have always wanted to, GIVE is the perfect place to start. They create an environment where you feel comfortable, supported, and confident while showing you how to travel in the most ethical and respectful way possible.   By far my favorite trip I’ve ever taken in my life. I feel as I have a whole new family and a second home. The guides and locals were so welcoming and friendly. The others on the trip were in the same boat as me so I was very comfortable and happy. I will for sure be taking another trip with GIVE volunteers. 100/10 experience, if you think you wanna do it, don’t think, just go for it!Show more

  ASANTE SANA ZANZIBAR & TANZ MAINLAND I could not imagine a trip to this beautiful country being as fulfilling traveling without GIVE! I learned so much about culture, the land, and gained a #secondfamily while doing so! ASANTE SANA to talha for sharing her inspiring story as how she worked her way up to becoming the Ed coordinator of Zanzibar program, Amour for his amazing energy, Juma our legend driver and sweetest soul, BIG HEADDD the concrete and cement master, Kasha for being the most perfect example of a leader I have ever seen, and EVERYONE ELSE we met and worked alongside of the entire way! I’m also so grateful to have been able to hop over to mainland! It was so awesome getting to experience the new program and I’m so happy to see what the future holds for this program.   This was the best experience of my life. Never did i once feel unsafe. Kiro village will forever hold a place in my heart. The accommodation and local staff make the whole trip. They make you feel like there home is your home. The food is amazing and they really immerse you in the culture. I went to help make a difference and they made a bigger difference in my life then I could ever imagine.Show more

  This was an amazing experience. I did the Zanzibar trip. It was amazing to get to know all the locals and be immersed into their community in the village of Kairo. They are lovely people that taught me a lot about how to live my own life back home. It was also great to see the work that we did be used in the community, as well as seeing exactly where the money is going to help these people. I highly recommend taking a trip with GIVE, especially the Zanzibar program. Our guides were amazingShow more

  I know that is so unbelievably cliche when someone says these trips will change your life, but it’s true. This trip was the greatest experience and I wish every day that I could be back on the island. My trip was the first group to do the ONLY zanzibar trip and I will gladly be one of the first to say that I had so much fun and it was absolutely amazing. I can not and will never be able to say enough good things about GIVE. The people and guides were some of the best people i’ve ever meta and they made the experience what it is. Please, please, please look into and take a trip with GIVE volunteers. You will NEVER EVER regret it.Show more

  Honestly the best 2 weeks of my life. I had a blast and have made many memories on this trip I will never forget. First of all, the guides were awesome and amazing people. Very friendly, easy to to talk to, and always checking up on you and making sure you are having fun. The group I was with were also amazing and always had excellent energy throughout the whole trip. Everyone was willing to connect, share stories, play games, and let their authenticity show. I really loved the way the trip was organized and scheduled. We knew what time to wake up, go to sleep, when we were going to do our activities, etc. It was very educational and I learned a lot about the people, the culture, the environment, and the problems the country faces. I loved the diversity in activities and how we actually connected and exchanged cultural ideas with locals in rural communities that you don’t usually get to see. Overall, a 10/10. Would totally go on another trip in the future!Show more

I have always wanted to go to Africa and my husband and I were supposed to go 20 years ago then I found out I was pregnant with my first born so I didn’t get to go, but…20 years later my daughter heard someone speak about Give trips at her college and invited me to go with her and made my dreams come true! What an incredible group of people and the leaders were fantastic very good at communication and very well organized! I was so impressed with the Give leadership and organization!
