Had an amazing time travelling Peru with a small group. It is a lot to fit in a short amount of time, but was absolutely worth it!

Our guide for the tour and Lares trek was amazing. Included meals were never that good except on the trek when they were amazing!

Great guide but too much draining travel - would be nice to stay in fewer places but for longer

I had a fantastic guide and group of people to spend time with. The itinerary was fast paced but covered many must see places in Peru, the G Adventures porters on the Inca Trail were amazing and provided us with really nice meals (I heard the same about the Lares Trek). Average age of the group was late 20s and a mix of solo travellers and pairs. Highly recommended!

Very fun! Great tour group. CEO and all other guides were very helpful, caring, informative, and friendly. The arrangement for bus times & check-in times to the hotel could have been arranged better so we could check-in right after we arrive from the bus. the Lares Trek was very well done and organized. Tons of activities packed into the tour group, although we had to pay extra for those. It seemed that the overall cost of this trip seemed overpriced (esp considering it was expensive to start off with), as it did not account for many meals, tips, and activities (we had to pay extra for that).

Guide: The guide was awesome, knowledgeable and kind. She made great recommendations and was extremely friendly and helpful. She definitely went out of her way to be accommodating and always checked in with everyone on a personal level to see how they were feeling. Extremely organized and intelligent! Food: The food was not very good and most of the restaurants that we went to were a bit pricy and too traditional. The large group dinners took almost 2 hours to get our food, and there should have been more options or recommendations for places to eat rather than "we are all going here at this time". Transportation: The night buses were very comfortable, and the transportation was well organized and usually on time. However, I found that the nature of this trip was too fast paced. We took a long bus trip to another location or city almost every day. It proved difficult to find time to relax, actually enjoy the city and explore a bit, eat meals at regular times, or have a shower. In the future, I would spend 2-3 days in each city rather than doing the compressed trip. The constant transportation was exhausting and not relaxing and I ended up coming home very sick. Accommodation: The hotels were a great value for money and the continental breakfasts were a great addition - especially where there were eggs and fruit included. The only recommendations that I would have would be to have the group show up at the hotels when the rooms are ready for check in, and stay in hotels that have a back-up hot water heater as most everyone was taking cold showers due to the large number of people all showering at the same time.

This was an amazing tour, exposing us to a range of Peru's geography and culture. There is a lot of travel involved, so be well-rested before you go. The night buses are very comfortable, but a long day followed by a night on a bus followed by another long day with a very early start can be wearing. You might need to supplement your breakfast, usually it is flat bread and jam, not a lot of protein - but the fresh juices are amazing. Be very diligent and adamant about no meat if you are vegetarian. The Inka Trail is phenomenal - amazing views, amazing food, amazing people - but make sure you have something to put under your nose (like Vicks or some other methol) to wipe out the smell of the squat toilets you will need to use along the way. Finally, the guides are wonderful, deserving of your respect. I felt safe at all points of this tour, learned a lot about Peru and about myself, and have 9 new friends
