I am a 50 year old solo traveler interested in the Peru: Ancient Cities and the Andes tour. Is there something similar in experience and price?

These are all Classic tours, which are open to all ages, rather than tours as this one you inquired about, which is a 18 to 39-yrs old tour, based on multi-share hostel accommodation

I'd like to know if the maximal age is mandatory ! I'm 45 years old . Can I book anyway ?

This tour is a part of our 18-30somethings travel style, which is only available for travellers between the ages of 18 - 39 to book onto. Our other travel styles, such as Classic, Active, National Geographic Journeys, etc., do not have any age restrictions.

We are a group of four seniors, all around 60 years old, and we are not able to do a 3-day trek. Is there any alternative option available?

Unfortunately this tour is in our 18-Thirtysomething travel style, which has an upper age limit of 39 years old. These tours are in our basic accommodation style. We do have a similar tour called Peru Panorama and you can opt to do Machu Picchu by Train and skip the hiking. This option gives you more time in Cusco to explore whilst anyone hiking starts their journey to Machu Picchu.

Kids are 15 and 13. Is new tour accommodating of these ages?

This Tour is pretty much split into 2 parts. Part 1: get to cusco with some stops (and overnight busses) on the way, and Part 2: The inca Trail, the main attraction (at least in my opinion) There are some great optional activities on the trip, like the rainbow mountain, which Odi (our CEO) with great foresight could move a week ahead or the nasca flight, which is also a really cool experience. The highlight for me was definitively the inca trail. GAdventures and their Porters (Primitivo - Group N# 6) made thus an amazing experience. Everything we used on this trip, like the tents, the sleeping bags, the air matresses, the chairs and the cooking Equipment was carried up by them, huge respect for that. The food on the trip was great, definitively some of the best food I had in whole peru, so great thanks to Florentino & Francisco for beeiing our master chefs. On the Trip were multiple very cool inca ruins, which our head Guides (Melquiades) and Assistant Guide (Efrain Mariño) did a great job explaining. I would recommend this trip to everybody, just know that you should book the trip long in advance, because there are only 200 tourists allowed to enter the inca trail per day, if you are late, you might not make it (you will still be hiking on the Lares Trek instead)Show more
