Most of the G adventures staff was amazing, the porters and cooks on the inca trail and the guide we had in the Amazon were all fantastic. The trip was a real experience and we had a great time, and with some minor changes it would have been a great group tour too. With that said, now we just feel we might as well have done it ourselves for a much lower cost and with a better outcome. We were expecting a group to travel with the entire way, but the itinerary was made up of different parts with different people and staff along the way. We met like 6-7 different G adventures people responsible for different parts, not including the different guides we had. The guides for the inca trail spoke poor English, and one of the guides did not have the stamina to keep up with the group. We learned very little about the inca people since the guide and assistant guide had problems describing things in English. We listened to some other guides that gave amazing information about things we hardly were told anything about. Some parts of the itinerary was really poorly planned, some hotels were not very good and with very poor breakfast. One piece of dry white bread with jam the morning before the start of the inca trail hike? We felt that we paid a premium to have someone else plan and book everything for us, but the itinerary and some of the staff did not live up to the premium price. We felt we could have done a better job booking ourselves, and at a much lower price. Since we didn't really get a group to travel with either, we might as well have booked it ourselves.

First time with G Adventure and was very impressed. They take care of you from the moment you step out from the plane. The Guides are very well trained, nice, knowledgeable, and ensure that you have the best time. They also seem to be happy to work for G Adventure. The Inca Trail was the most amazing trip of my life. The Porters (group #6) were amazing, worked very hard and efficient to ensure we had the most comfortable trek. The food, oh the food, can't say how impressed I was with our Chef, very tasty ,various menus, and he made us a Chocolate CAKE at the end of the trail (no idea how he pulled that off without an oven). The guides were also very nice, caring, and ensured that everybody is safe and will finish the Inca Trail with the best memories (Thanks Elias and Winnie, couldn't do it without your support!) The trip in the Amazon was also something I was very impressed with . Leao Emerson was so knowledgeable and passionate about everything that grows in the jungle and he made me feel safe at all times.

This was an amazing trip!! One of the hardest physical challenges of my young existence completing the Lares Trek, but worth every cold, wet and miserable moment! Peru is a beautiful country that I hope I have the chance to repeat!

Best trip I have ever been on. The guides were fantastic and the group 9 porters were extremely nice and strong we called them superman. The food was fantastic the chefs on the inca trail hike gave us three course meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were always full. The cooks were five star. The buffet in the Amazon was outstanding. Every day was a new adventure.

Awesome adventure! Peru is an amazing place, there was so much to do and learn - if you prefer sitting around on a beach this trip is probably not for you! The inca trail was the highlight of this trip for me, the tour guide and the rest of the team were awesome. I was so impressed with the level of organisation and hard work from everyone (the food was delicious!). Our tour guide was excellent, he really took care of everyone in the team and taught us so much about Peru and the history of the Inca's. Honestly can't stress enough how awesome this tour was! Unforgettable experience!
