Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech Arrival
You'll arrive at Marrakech airport and get transferred to your hotel. Later this evening at 19:00, you'll meet your tour leader and the other travelers for a welcome meeting to kick things off.


- Day 2
Marrakech to Skoura
You'll drive from Marrakech toward Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified city that sits along what used to be a major caravan route. The kasbahs here are ancient and worth taking time to walk through and photograph. After exploring the site, you'll continue on to Skoura where the evening is yours to do as you like. The drive gives you good views of the changing landscape as you head south.

- Day 3
Skoura to Dades Gorge
Start the morning at Kasbah Amridil, then travel into Dades Gorge in the Dades valley. You'll spend the day checking out the gorges themselves, the palmeries scattered through the valley, and the old kasbah ruins that dot the area. By evening you'll have a Christmas dinner, so it's a nice way to end the day after all that walking around and exploring the rock formations.

Dades Gorge to Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes
You'll cross Jebel Sarhro and arrive at Erg Chebbi sand dunes where the Sahara Desert begins. These dunes reach about 150 meters high and shift constantly with the wind. Later, you'll trek across the dunes by camel and reach a Berber camp for dinner. The evening brings time around the campfire under the stars, so bring warm layers.

- Day 5
Erg Chebbi to Ouarzazate
You'll travel through the Saghro Mountain region, passing through Mercissi and Nkob. The rock formations here are quite dramatic, and you'll see some ancient wells along the way. In Agdz there's time to see the palmeries, old kasbahs, and get views of Jebel Kissane Mountain. After that you'll head to Ouarzazate, Morocco's film capital, where there's a group meal in the evening so you can meet others on the trip.

- Day 6
Ouarzazate to Marrakech
Start by visiting the film studio in Ouarzazate, which is the largest in the world. You can see the Colosseum set from Gladiator and various props from other films like Jewel of the Nile. Later you'll head to Kasbah Telouet, built back in 1860, then make your way down to Marrakech's medina. Once there you'll have time to wander through Djemaa el Fna market and take in the chaos and energy of the place, grabbing lunch or just watching the street performers.

Marrakech
Spend the day exploring Marrakech's pink-hued streets with snake charmers, hammams, bustling souks, and hidden palaces. The Koutoubia mosque and Djemaa el Fna square are key spots, and the square really comes alive in the evening when food stalls, dancers, acrobats, fortune tellers, musicians, and henna artists set up. Your afternoon and evening are free to explore on your own, try bargaining in the souks, or get a hammam if you want to relax.

Marrakech Departure
Your Morocco trip wraps up after breakfast. If you're interested, there are optional extensions available to either stay in Marrakech for New Year's Eve or head to the coast in Essaouira.
