Eight days was a good amount of time for us. We got to see quite a lot of Morocco, but the trip never felt like we were just collecting places from a list. The desert was definitely the part I was looking forward to most. The first time we saw the dunes, it felt completely different from anything we'd experienced earlier in the trip. The evening at the camp was quiet and relaxed, and waking up there the next morning was worth it. I also enjoyed the stops between Casablanca and Marrakech. Some were quick, others gave us more time to look around, and the changing scenery kept the journey interesting. We had plenty of opportunities to take photos and try local food along the way. The private arrangement was a big plus for us. We could travel at our own rhythm, and everything was taken care of without making the experience feel too formal. I'd recommend this tour if you want to combine the main highlights with a real desert experience. For eight days, we felt that we got a very good taste of Morocco.Show more

We booked this trip because we wanted to focus mainly on the desert, and that was exactly what we got. From Casablanca to Marrakech, the journey was really about the landscapes, the road and the Sahara rather than spending time visiting cities. The scenery changed constantly as we moved south. Mountains, valleys, small villages, rocky landscapes and finally the huge sand dunes it felt like Morocco was changing in front of us every day. The Sahara itself was unforgettable. Seeing the dunes for the first time was impressive, but sunset was the real highlight. We had a great evening at the camp, enjoyed the dinner and music, and later sat outside looking at the stars. It was incredibly peaceful. I also liked that we had time to enjoy the journey instead of rushing through a list of attractions. Our driver was friendly and flexible, and we could stop for photos or simply take a break whenever we wanted. By the time we reached Marrakech, we felt like we'd had a proper desert adventure rather than just a quick visit to the Sahara. If your main reason for coming to Morocco is to experience the desert, I would definitely recommend this tour. The landscapes along the way are beautiful, but the Sahara is really the heart of the experience.Show more

I usually prefer planning my own trips, but Morocco was one of those places where having someone else take care of the logistics made a lot of sense. We wanted to see as much as possible without spending our whole holiday worrying about roads, hotels and directions. The trip gave us a really good mix. Casablanca was a nice starting point, but what I enjoyed most was seeing how quickly the scenery changed as we moved through the country. The mountains, old kasbahs, small villages and desert landscapes all felt completely different. The Sahara was definitely the highlight for me. I had seen plenty of photos before coming, but standing on the dunes at sunset was another thing entirely. The evening at the camp was relaxed and enjoyable, and waking up early for the sunrise was absolutely worth it. I also liked that we had enough time to stop along the way instead of simply driving from one destination to the next. Our driver was friendly and flexible, and we had some really good conversations about Moroccan culture and everyday life. By the time we reached Marrakech, I felt like we had experienced a surprisingly large part of Morocco in just eight days. I'd recommend this itinerary to anyone who wants a first taste of Morocco and doesn't want to choose between the cities and the desert. You get a little bit of everything, and the journey between the destinations is part of the experience.Show more
