Kilimanjaro International Airport
You'll land at Kilimanjaro International Airport where a driver meets you for the transfer to your hotel. On the way, you'll get a quick tour of the city and learn some background about Tanzania to get you ready for what's ahead. Later that evening, you'll sit down for a briefing that covers what you'll be doing for the rest of the trip.

Landmarks Kilimanjaro International Airport - Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Starting at 7:00 am, you'll drive for two hours to Tarangire National Park with your guide. The park is known for its old baobab trees and has more elephants than anywhere else in Tanzania. During the game drive, you'll look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and if you're lucky, leopards, cheetahs, and lions. You'll grab lunch at a picnic spot near the river, then head to Karatu for dinner and to stay overnight.

Landmarks Tarangire National Park - Day 3
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, the drive to the Serengeti takes about 6 hours and goes through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you'll stop for roughly 20 minutes to see the crater. By late afternoon, you'll arrive at Seronera and have a picnic lunch before heading out on a wildlife game drive. As evening comes on, you'll keep exploring to catch the sunset and watch for predators hunting, then return to your lodge for dinner.

Northern Serengeti National Park
Start with an early morning game drive after breakfast, tracking the wildebeest migration as you head northwest through the Serengeti's vast regions. You'll have a packed picnic lunch partway through the day. The main event is reaching the Mara River, where migratory herds may be crossing. Keep game driving until dusk, then return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay where you might see wildlife moving around the camp grounds.

Northern Serengeti National Park
Up early again for another game drive in the Northern Serengeti. Large groups of wildebeest gather here before attempting to cross the Mara River, so you might witness the migration in action. Lunch comes during the drive, and you'll keep looking for wildlife until dusk before heading back to camp.

Landmarks Mara River - Day 6
Northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast and an early lunch, you'll leave the Serengeti and drive toward Ngorongoro. Your driver shares information about local animals and the landscape as you travel. By evening, you'll arrive at the crater rim where you'll stay the night with views of the crater's edge.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater - Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater
You'll wake early to watch the sunrise from the crater's edge. After a substantial brunch, you'll drive down into this UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Africa's Seven Wonders. With around 25,000 animals in the crater, wildlife viewing is excellent—you'll see elephants, zebras, gazelles, wildebeest, and more than 500 bird species. Black rhinos are rare here, but you might spot one. Once the game drives are done, you'll drive back to Moshi for dinner and an overnight stay.
